Pochettino wanted Walker gone. It's been said too many times already.

ITK also said the problem was City, not us

I think that giving he's moving abroad is a clear confirmation that it was City, or else he would be signing for any other PL club. Arsenal to begin with

Well maybe they were the only club to meet City's price and clauses? If say Edwards fancied Chelsea but they offered us 3 millions while Bayern offered us 10 millions. I guess we should sell him to Chelsea then to be nice to the young lad?

Also you shouldn't trust ITK blindly. We know very well Levy have a top PR team (ironically that info also through ITK). Surely he could affect how some ITK's view the situation.

He didn't want to leave City when we did the Walker deal as he did after they left him off the US trip, there may apparently have been itk that we did try to link him before that but I don't recall it and you don't believe itk anyway so why is it that you think the two could have been linked?

Sigh

When did I say u didnt believe any ITK? I adviced to not take every bit as gospel. Also many reports pointed to him not joining the US tour was due to him not signing a new deal.

Maybe it's all City's fault? It could be, but should always be critical when a story could have (and probably have) many angles we know nothing about instead of blind faith in one.

So best not to just say we should have included him in the Walker deal as though it was feasible, don't you think?#
Anyway I'll believe when I see him in a Dortmund shirt.

I agree could well be nothing but City trying to force our hand. All i wrote is for some othet perspective than "city playing silly bugger and thats a fact"

guess all that 'itk' about him being homesick and wanting us was bs

On a par with us not being able to sign Dembele from Fulham because we wouldn't sanction a loan back, and he then goes to Celtic on a permanent deal.

Borussia Dortmund have signed Manchester City youngster Jaydon Sancho.

The highly-rated England youth international wanted to leave City and had stopped training.

City gave him permission to speak to Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid only - no British clubs.

I think it's pretty clear that he wanted to move primarily because he felt that there was no path to first team football at a club that spends 200m every summer on whatever whim their manager du jour dreams up. It was probably also the case that he wanted to go back home to London which served as a convenient excuse for essentially going on strike. City wouldn't allow him to move to a domestic rival while under scholarship so he did what was best for his career and went to one of the best clubs in world football for developing young talents.

Thought he was free to speak to whoever he liked since he wasn't officially a City player.

Fair play to the lad being willing to leave City to get first team football and have the balls to go to another country. He has been given the number 7 jersey at Dortmund so you would think he will get his chance there. Disappointing for us but you can't knock the lad.
