Apparently not showing up for City trainings anymore. The telegraph reporting it's because he got left out of the US tour. Again this is probably due to his contract situation.

"Sancho's future is in doubt after failing to attend training on several occasions due to his omission from the US tour. [@TelegraphDucker]"

"Sancho was dismayed at being left out and failed to appear for training, with club staff struggling to contact him. [@TelegraphDucker]"

His player thread on their forum have hit 10 pages today alone after the reports from the telegraph. Leading to mostly quotes like this:

Sounds like a Nasri thing to do... all the talent but a dodgy mentality. Bye.

Can fuck right off. We are not obliged to take him on tour. We din't take Bony on tour and the chap is training. Why should we take someone on tour and train him with our best players when he doesnt want to sign a contract.

Sadly several want them to try use him in a Sanchez deal to Arsenal, but Manchester United also pushing hard to get him (http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...nsfer-news/man-utd-news-jadon-sancho-13409174)

Can read more about him here: http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/jadon-sancho.310967/page-106

Not any mention of us, but can hope! (y)

The thing is Shitty have no power to "use Sancho" as part of any Alexei Sanchez deal.

Sancho has not signed a professional contract, so he can move wherever he likes. All Shitty can do is claim compensation through a triibunal if no fee is agreed with the new club he joins.

Reports have suggested that Sancho is homesick, but crucially did not feel he would get first team opportunities any time soon at Shitty. So he wants to return to London, and he will presumably join whichever club can convince him he will get first team minutes sooner rather than later.

Given Chavski's tendency to sell or endlessly loan Academy products, I think Sancho's major choices come down to the goons, Palace, spammers and us.

Hopefully he'll join the Poch revolution. But with Frank De Boer's record of developing young players at Ajax, in terms of his development and path to first team football, Palace are likely a viable option too.

So report says we asked for him as part of walker deal.

Or maybe we were considering to ask?

I don't like the fact he hasn't turned up at training, included in the US tour or not you still have to be professional and do your job. I'd get the sack at my job if I didn't turn up to work after not being included in a work conference off-site.

Seems like another know-all young footballer.

Maybe he's being advised to stay away. If the club is stalling on an offer and he has options, it could be a way of forcing City's hand. It's not exactly professional, but feels like the sort of thing an agent would suggest.

Post 253 here, from February, suggests his agent could be trying to get City do act one way or the other: http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/jadon-sancho.310967/page-26 - and it seems he would prefer Arsenal, if he were to leave. I was searching for who his agent is but can't find it anywhere. Transfermarkt just says 'agent is known'.

Agree. What sort of self obsessed kid at 17 doesn't turn up for work because something happened he didn't like?

Unless there are other factors or this is not accurate reporting he'd have to change that attitude for Poch to want him.

If he is only 17 he cannot actually be represented (without parental consent) so TM doesn't publish agent for underage players.

It's very easy to judge these kids for acting like brats, but the reality is that they're kids - they're under developed mentally, they've been told they're the dogs bollox from day 1, they're paid insane amounts of money and they probably have all sorts being thrown at them.

It's a cultural problem with the way footballers are worshiped and paid - regrettably, as long as there are people out there who are happy to go along with it in an effort to attract them (or keep them) at their club, it will persist

That's true, but I thought it would be mentioned somewhere at least, even 'according to...' in passing, but no. Nowhere that I could see. My theory was that he had the same representative as Sterling did when he was trying to get out of Liverpool to City but can't back that up :(

Would they even get much of a tribunal fee given that they nicked him off Watford only a couple of years ago.

It's hard to know. Chavski tried to get Nya Kirby to sign for them before he'd agreed professional terms with us, and we accused them of tapping up so they ran a mile.

Unfortunately, Kirby still refused to go pro with us, and eventually signed for Palace. I asked the SC youth experts about the compensation we'd received from the ploddingly named Professional Football Compensation Committee. Noone seemed to know. So perhaps Spurs and Palace came to an agreement between the two clubs which is not in the public domain. I wouldn't be surprised if Levy hadn't tried to include a sell-on clause on any future transfer because Kirby is a talent.

Losing Kirby was a bitter blow. He and TOB were the attacking stars of their Academy age group. Of course the good news is that TOB signed a pro contract with the famous Spurs, and is now getting first team pre-season minutes.

Fwiw an online source suggests the criteria are as follows:

When setting the compensation figure, the regulations of the PFCC provide for a number of criteria to be taken into account including the age of the player, the length of time they’ve been with the club, his playing record and evidence of interest in him from other clubs. In the Ings case for example, Burnley asked for a figure of £12m and put forward evidence of interest from Tottenham Hostpur in coming to that figure.

Character is an important quality regardless of talent now if it's true he is missing training and not turning up then this clearly isn't a good thing. Ravel Morrison was extremely talented Taarbat was also a talented so caution is required with some players.
