Is it?8 million pounds for Livermore is good business by Levy.
Or is it an indication of the inflation of prices due to increased revenue from end of season pay outs?

Sad to see him leave but good business all round. I dislike the way a lot of football fans don't rate a player purely because he's not world class. When Jake came in at the end of the season a couple of years back he was a solid performer but he's not spectacular so he doesn't stand out. Good luck.
@Davo99 & @Grapo2001 Fair enough on the disagrees, but when we see the prices for players, especially British players at the moment, its hard not to see the 8M as simply the going rate and whilst it sounds good, lets see how much we will be forced to cough up when we look to buy players. Is it?

I hate it when clubs hang on to young players when they have little hope of ever becoming 1st team regulars and effectively kill that player's career. Chelsea are probably the worst example of this.
Like O'Hara and Caulker before him I hope Livermore goes on to have a decent career. We got a nice fee and he can continue his development with regular football. Win-win all round.

O'Hara is an outcast from a club who have just got out of League One. He's seen as Wolves biggest ever waste of money, getting £7.5m for him is the deal of the century.
Agree with the rest of your point though.
