Best of luck Jake. I always hoped for more from him in our shirt, but the difference between hope and reality is often like this. So I hope he continues to build on a solid year at Hull City as I do like him...except for when he plays us. And hey Jake....if you want to score against Arsenal, we are all for that :)

Sad to see him leave but good business all round. I dislike the way a lot of football fans don't rate a player purely because he's not world class. When Jake came in at the end of the season a couple of years back he was a solid performer but he's not spectacular so he doesn't stand out. Good luck.

Like you say, a good bit of business all round.

Best of luck to Livermore (obviously not against us though)

While I don't really think he was quite good enough, he always put a shift in and couldn't ever be accused of not showing effort and desire.

Hope him and Hudd continue to do well together.

Best of luck Jake.

Good solid young English CM, ideal buy for Hull, deserves to be starting in the PL every week. Lots of potential, and a very profitable product of our academy. Worked hard for his chances with us and on loan and did a great job for them this season.

Good new all round for everyone involved.

Is it?
Or is it an indication of the inflation of prices due to increased revenue from end of season pay outs?
@Davo99 & @Grapo2001 Fair enough on the disagrees, but when we see the prices for players, especially British players at the moment, its hard not to see the 8M as simply the going rate and whilst it sounds good, lets see how much we will be forced to cough up when we look to buy players.

best of luck to the lad, hope it really works out for him. just cos he didn't fit in here doesn't mean we shouldn't wish him every success.

I hate it when clubs hang on to young players when they have little hope of ever becoming 1st team regulars and effectively kill that player's career. Chelsea are probably the worst example of this.

Like O'Hara and Caulker before him I hope Livermore goes on to have a decent career. We got a nice fee and he can continue his development with regular football. Win-win all round.

O'Hara is an outcast from a club who have just got out of League One. He's seen as Wolves biggest ever waste of money, getting £7.5m for him is the deal of the century.

Agree with the rest of your point though.

I think he would hope for a bit more luck than O'Hara and Caulker

I missed that .

Still we got a nice fee for him so it's not all bad news ;).
