Just like BissoumaBecause he has upside given his age and his nationality.
He is also a very very good player. Even if you only watch him in two games a season (i.e. against us) you could see that. They’re a much lesser side without him.
Obligatory YouTube compilation
this is not happening is itFuck. Shouldn't have watched this.

Yeah this is why I’m so baffled people don’t want him. They see issues about his attitude etc from his past and him being in Ibiza etc but don’t realise just how good he was last season. He developed hugely and is now an outstanding talent who offers everything going forward you could want. Its not always when you see a compilation full of actual output.
There's a lot to like in that video. Proper striker in front of goal, hits it with whichever foot is necessary, no hesitation. Great distribution from deeper, too. I dunno, he might be worth £70M, might make the difference between plucky runners up or actual champs? Its not always when you see a compilation full of actual output.
Don't really know but they've always had a high wage bill with respect to their turnover, one of the highest I believe, which is why they always have to sell top players. To be honest their supply of players to sell on to the big clubs has been thinning out. They've been banking on a big fee for Tielemans but that's not going to happen which leaves them with noone else but Maddison. Can anyone think of another Leicester player worth any interest? What is actually going on with Leicester then?
They haven't made any moves yet, they have always made smart and sensible signings (although some on here overrated some of their signings) and they always sell players at a premium (Maguire, Mahrez).
So how have they got into a financial mess?
If I recall I think their mess stems from their players wages being in excess of 100% of their turnover. They were trying to attract players with an unsustainable wage structure. What is actually going on with Leicester then?

Wow! I didn't know it was that high.I think their mess stems from their players wages being in excess of 100% of their revenues.
I’m not sure if it still is but I’m sure at one point that was the case.Wow! I didn't know it was that high.

Thanks, guys.If I recall I think their mess stems from their players wages being in excess of 100% of their turnover. They were trying to attract players with an unsustainable wage structure.
So they're just permanently making a loss? WTF? That's abysmal! If I recall I think their mess stems from their players wages being in excess of 100% of their turnover. They were trying to attract players with an unsustainable wage structure.

The wage bill was just under their total revenue in the most recent accounts (£192m wages vs £227m turnover). The previous year their wage bill was £7m higher than revenue.I’m not sure if it still is but I’m sure at one point that was the case.
Although have to keep in mind that the most recent accounts will be COVID era revenues - ie zero match day income. The wage bill was just under their total revenue in the most recent accounts (£192m wages vs £227m turnover). The previous year their wage bill was £7m higher than revenue.
