Please let this happen..

A: I think he's quite a good player

B: Because I live in Leicester, and get bantered on an almost daily basis by Baby Squad dickheads.

I would luv it, because I know for a fact that it would Royally fuck them off if we snatched Maddison.

And I could then get Maddison written on the back of our new home shirt, and ride around town on my mobility scooter cocking a snook..

That is all. Thanks

Although some believe there are better European based options. Maddison HG status is so important.

There are no guarantees Spence or Sess will make the required improvements to be an HG asset longer term. You could also argue even with Skipp's improvements he is still a way off a long term HG asset

Maddison brings Premier League experience and would give us more flexibility in the transfer market in future windows.

As before, they'd much rather sell YT, have had plenty of interest in him, and don't want to let both go. Leicester have made this abundantly clear from the off.

Must admit I find it a bit odd that no one has signed YT yet as I can imagine there would be quite a few clubs interested in him. Wonder if Leicester are just asking too much for him.

Think its just a case of Tielemans having one year left and Leicester wanted silly money. He will leave by the sounds of it.

This was my thinking, wouldn't be too shocked if they were looking for 35-40m for him.

Is YT going to bring in that much? And enough to significantly affect their incoming business....

I mean if they really need to sell in order to buy surely Maddison would be the one to bring in the substantial funds they'd need...

Thing is after we signed Bissouma for up to 30m there's no way Tielemans is worth as much so they will struggle to get as much or more than Brighton got. It feels like a Tielemans sale alone isn't going to be enough to start signing players.

considering that Tielemans has only 1 year left for his contract can't see him bringing Leicester a significant amount of transfer fee

Ornstein is saying that Arsenal will sign him if they can move some players out first.

This sounds like putting the feelers out there to ready the fans for a worst case scenario, in the event they need to sell Maddison.

Personally, I don't mind waiting for this one or any other option the clubs got planned. I am sure we will end up with a statement signing just to top everything else off.

The sensible thing for them to do is to sell Maddison, or they could be in the same position with him as they are with YT next summer.

If they sold both now they could reinvest wisely. Cling on to either and they get less money to play with.

Leicester will sell Tielemans to the Goons and then they will be able to keep Fofana and Maddison.

Would love for us to sign him but just can’t see it happening.

Well maybe but they've told us that is how it is. That they wont let both go in one Summer and they want to offload YT, he was openly offered to us but we didn't want him.

That John Percy piece today suggests things might have to change on that front.

In reality they'll do well to get £30m for Tielemans. Is selling him enough? If they buy winks to replace they probably make a profit of circa £10m tops.

Teams won't be queuing up to take their highly paid cast offs (Vestergaard, Soumare, Bertrand) for any decent money either.

Not saying it'll be Maddison but he's probably the most valuable asset and one that is in danger of running his contract down. Maybe they could get someone like Newcastle to come in for Iheanacho.

Edit - not doubting your info btw, I 100% believe we were told that but things do change sometimes.

You know those lot down the road will offer stupid money for YT and play it off as an absolute coup, scuppering our move for Maddison.

Let's face it - Tielemens isn't a better player than Bissouma is he? That's the benchmark valuation I'd say
