We've been so lucky he signed for us. One of the signings of the season, no doubt.

Amazing. What a great club.

We obviously didn't do it for Berbatov or Modric. Can't see us doing it for Bale either.

If we win it I want Jan to lift it.

I'd rather Dawson lift it, has put his heart and soul for our club since he signed in 2004, may have had a few dodgy performances over the years but he loves this club and deserves another medal imo.

Lloris, Vertonghen, Dembele, Bale. Those 4 are genuinely all top class and would walk into any prem side either now or in the next few years. Great business in the summer, I hope we can add 3 more like that.

When kaboul is back i would play him in midfield. Hes the most acomplished and composed footballer we have. Hats off to ajax too!.

Apparently he didn't want to sign for Arsenal because they wanted him to play midfield tho

Class player,I have no doubt he could do a good job in midfield if he was asked.

I really like Jan but I don't want to see him in midfield, I'm not a fan when he's at fullback either. Lets leave him at centre half shall we.

Very good footballer and has an eye for goal better than most central defenders. Not in the same class as Ledley defensively who was a World Class defender. Kaboul was becoming a fantastic defender, hope he returns from his injury the player we saw last season because we've missed him

Lloris, Vertonghen and Dembele were 3 excellent signings and have balanced out our team better than we have been before hand although the loss of Modric, VdV and the death of Adebayor's form have left us less creative (although Bale's transformation into superman has lessened that)

If we can address our striker situation for next year and keep Sandro fit (maybe some depth in the full back/wing situation) we'll grow in to a top force

Lets hope they throw another farewell party for Christian Eriksen, when he decides to join Jan at Spurs next season. (y)

And keep Bale of course.

We do this for all our players who left. VDW and Anita were also given their farewell today.

Fischer scored a Bergkampesque goal in the 4 - 1 against NEC while Babel also notched another in after making his first minutes after being injured for many months.

VDW will probably start against Barca in the CL quarterfinals. Pretty exciting to see all our academy players doing so well right after their Ajax carreers.
