The Dutchman arrived at White Hart Lane in a £17million deal this summer but has only found the net against Gillingham from the penalty spot.

Ordinarily he'd be starting all of our games with Kane out, it's just bad luck that Son has hit a patch of form. He'll get game time and he'll get goals, no need to worry.

It's not just us getting this sort of shitty tabloid treatment.

Batshuayi is already being linked with a loan move back to Marseille. Chelsea eh, who'd have thought...

From what i have seen so far he is a very good strong player and he will get goals.Just needs time to adjust and get to know a bit more about the PL.No worries he will come good and still very young.

Hopefully he plays up front for the Netherlands team and gets a couple of goals - that will be the confidence he needs, not a shrink.
A striker wants to score goals and once he starts, I think he will go on from there.
Lamela and Son did not have good 1st seasons - bit of Poch magic needed.

Shitty writing.

Going by minutes, he's played 5 full matches, has a goal and an assist.
He's not even playing bad.

Hope this isn't Soldado 2 but I'd be really surprised if it turned out to be.

This current squad plays with such pace that it's a massive step up from Dutch football. As someone else said, Son took his time getting up to speed and playing the Poch way and look at him now.

Ive been impressed with him so far. There are goals all over the squad and he has already played a major role in some of them.

Kane had gone without a goal for a while too and he has PL experience. Sometimes it takes a while and you need some luck. He links up play well, so as long as he helps the team, that is all that matters. If he didn't score and didn't get involved, that's when there's an issue.

I agree with you on Janseen. They said the same about Waddle & Anderton too. You can only judge how good a player has been, when he leaves.

My only concern would be that he isn't going to gain much confidence and experience sitting on the bench, which is where he is spending a lot of his time so far this term.

'Mental coach'...I now have image of Rowan Atkinson with two pencils stuck up his nose coaching our players in my head. Flibble.

They paid £30m for a player that hasn't set the world a light, but will probably come good. We paid £17m. That's their problem, not ours.

I'm actually more impressed with Janssen, as although he scored lots, he has worked hard for the team and has been involved with the build up to goals.

he's played 53 minutes and the media is linking him away on loan. It's not about whether they will come good - they might, they might not - it's that the papers in both instances have zero patience for players who are adjusting to a new league. Either you're a success or a failure, straight away, and there is no middle ground.

My second comment was flippant because we know Chelsea sign players so that other clubs can't.

Buddy, I do not disagree with a word or your original comment. I was just adding to that :p

He doesn't need a shrink, but he does need someone to help him adjust to the prem.

He is strong, i like that, he is also a willing runner, he chases the ball when the opponents have it, and he runs the channels.

But we need him to concentrate on staying in the box more, when we attack. He will score a lot more this way, especially if Danny Rose gets forward and pings those crosses in.
