Sissoko has actually looked a bit better in his last two games. Taking the price tag out of him he could make a damn good impact sub. Let's at least give him the rest of the season before we flog him to the Chinese.

Why do so many people on this forum think that Sissoko would just pack up and head to China????? He hasn't shown any signs of being a mercenary (doesn't mean that he isn't, just means that he hasn't publicly shown himself to be one) and he's a starter in the France team which Deschamps can justify by the fact he's a PL player.

I doubt even if we had an offer that he'd take it.

Probably because Pelles moved out there from Southampton and is earning around £34m in two years.

Barkley will be allowed to leave for around £30million to help finance a swoop for Manchester United outcasts Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Manager Ronald Koeman's decision to use Barkley as a bargaining counter is one of several deals the Dutchman is hoping to pull off to kick start Everton's season.

He was in Manchester for like 6 or 7 years as a 1 in 2 striker at City and a 1 in 3 striker at Utd. I'd say he was settled just fine there, tbf.
the city 'with only two restaurants'

City captain Carlos Tevez has vowed never to return to Manchester in an interview on Argentine television, branding the city small, wet and boring, with only two restaurants.

The homesick star came close to leaving City in the January transfer window, only to stay and help guide them to the FA Cup and a third place league finish, ensuring automatic Champions League qualification.

However, his latest outburst will have done nothing to endear him to the citizens of Manchester.

Having said on Sunday that the city was his “second home”, his latest words cast it in a rather less flattering light.

“There’s nothing to do in Manchester,” Tevez told the chat show. “There’s two restaurants and everything’s small. It rains all the time, you can’t go anywhere. There comes a moment where you say ‘where am I going to go with my family?’ and you begin to feel bad.

“Of course, one trains, plays, does things, and when the family or friends come one feels bad and you can’t take them to the movies because they don’t understand anything.

“You can buy a house in Marbella and take a vacation. I will not return to Manchester, not for vacation, not anything.”

The worst thing about this Oscar move is that you can bet Chelsea won't be banking that money, they'll be spunking it all on James Rodriguez I'm sure of it. Costa, Hazard, Rodriguez as a front three would be frightening to say the least.

As others have said the fact Chelsea can just blatently launder this dirty money along with other top clubs is quite disusting and the very reason why well run clubs dont really have a chance anymore.

At some point it will all come out in the wash but I fear the game may well have been ruined by then anyway.
