never rated Makoun that much anyway. a bit hyped. Toulalan on the other hand is fantastic. one of the frenchies only bright spots in the euro's.

I find that quite an odd thing to say, as they are such similar players. If anything Makoun has everything Toulalan has, plus a better range of passing. Because Toulalon is French and plays for Lyon, I'd imangine he'd cost more than Makoun. So, if anything, I'd say it's the other way round with Toulalon being the more hyped of the two.

Seriously SK, four posts above you I posted a link to Lyon's official site saying that they've signed him.

We aren't getting him, and neither are any of our rivals.

Yes, all are recommended by Scoutingmanagement Ltd. If we only had given them time, and played all together!! All are quality players, and all those players in the same team, would be great.

Why do we let good players slip away all the time? Lets hope we give Kaboul time to adapt. It would be so stupid to let him go! BAE is a good player too, but he has been unlucky with injuries. Zokora is an important member of our squad, and that is good to see. If Atouba had been here now, he would have been a quality player for us.

Don't even think about it, despite his amazing name!

He plays for a mid-table Norwegian Adeccoliga-club, equivalent of the Championship, and isn't even that good at that level, where most of the players in the league wouldn't play above the Blue Square Premier.

Sounds like the kind of player we would have signed 10 or so years ago for a hugely inflated fee. Either that or an accidental tourist signed on a Frankie Friday who happened to be in the right place, right contract & got caught up in the moment only to find to his delight he'd signed for Tottenham.

EDIT: or someone 'discovered' by Graham Souness & signed for a hugely inflated fee.
