Disagree entirely. That's not over the odds at all - but we'd have no chance of getting him for such a fee.

From what I saw in that Dutch game, wouldnt touch him with a barge pole...Winks better than him. At 25, he just had his first good season. So, not so sure on him

No that's fair - I just think you're possibly still thinking in old money. 25m isn't much these days.

The fact that Monchi has just rocked up at Roma, and now they really want this guy, tells me a lot.
This can't be stressed enough. Monchi has proven to have a good insight on players and the transfer market, if Monchi is chasing him he clearly has some quality

All our spurs players played shite against Scotland. (Kane did score a great goal, but nothing else). One match does not determine anything. Especially in international matches, poor tactics and bad/unfamiliar teammates affect players' performance (Ivory Coast is no longer that good now)

He's been widely regarded as one of the best players in Ligue 1 this season, I doubt his performance in the game you're referring to is indicative of his abilities.

To be honest, if someone had only watched Alli or Kane at the Euros last season, they'd think they were shit as well.

I'm surprised we would be interested in him as we didn't want Zaha because he would play in the African Nations for Ivory Coast. The same would apply to this player.

I might be stipulating too much here, but I'd rather expect that we wouldn't rule out every player that might be involved in ACN. There is a certain level of quality that would trump future international obligations, and Zaha clearly is not of that quality. Other players might be.

I think this guy would be my no1 choice of all the big money players we've been linked to this window (along with Sessegnon).

I think we need another player in the playmaking department, Eriksen, Winks and Seri would give us good depth in this area and enable us to cope with an injury.

Plus I think he looks class.

But we have no link at all other than a gossip column in a daily red top which may well leave you dissapointed especially as we might not bring anyone in for that position.

Bouhafsi is basically the French Ornstein, so this has legs.
However, those who follow that league seem to think PSG are very much all over him, and they're probably not less interested after todays Verratti news.

French journalist reporting our interest today supposed to be very credible.

I didn't say this guy was shit. Just gave my opinion on what I saw in those 90 minutes + fact that he has had his first prolific season at 24 years. We spent 30m on Sissoko based on 1 good tournament in 7 years. Just feel, we need to be careful on late bloomers like Seri.

Tbh he looks a touch better than winks and he's 4 or so years older. Winks has a higher ceiling imo and he goes for spurs, not to mention onomah. We don't need him unless you want 5 or 6 central midfielders at the club and risk kicking two of our academy graduates out. Eriksen can drop deeper as well. The money that we're looking at here could be spent in more urgent positions
