We should definitely keep him IMO especially if we decide to switch from 442 in a 433 4231 formation I believe we can at last see the best out of Jenas.

If one can cast their minds back to the days of Carrick and Edgar Davids Jenas scored a lot of goals basially playing in a three man mid.

Yes and since, he has had a really bad injury, so I am sure he wont be the player he was (supposed to be).

someone wants to keep Jenas??? wow! that's a first...

i think he was a pretty decent player, liked him alot at newcastle and when he arrived.... he was that extra body in defense who could put in a good tackle, or that extra player upfront getting in the box and getting goals for us.

but he hasn't shown his quality for a long long time... time for him to go, and QPR would be a good move for him. hmm... any chance we can push Bentley to them too? :)

any marketing people here? remembered those ads for Owen and Adebayor did pretty well.

I would be surprised if QPR did anything other than a loan deal, Jenas has got to be the most injured player for Spurs in the last 15 years, maybe even more than Sicknote himself. Why in the world would any club spend money on Jenas is beyond me, while he is ok he will only play 15-20 games a year and none of those in a row, he will play for 3 games, get hurt, be out a month, come back play 4 or 5 games, look good in the last two and get hurt again. repeat for the entire season and that is what you get with Jenas.

While I don't think Jenas is a terrible player you just can't trust him to actually play for your side for any sustained amount of games. Saying that means I would get rid of him for anything over 1 million pounds and just be happy to be rid of his wages, which are a drain on us paying Bale or Modric what they are worth.

What is it with Jenas...
He's a good footballer, I just can't understand why he failed to live up to potential?!

He passed sideways so often it was horrific to watch, but his runs and goals were usually good. Do we put it down to instructions from the managers?! After all, many of them rated Jenas highly enough to start him a lot.

A fresh start would be good for him, but I think he does get a lot of unfair stick on here, we have had a lot lot worse.
Something not right in his head. He's got (had) all the tools to be one of the best CMs around. :(

Apparently when he first went to Newcastle, he was taken under the wing of Kieron Dyer - that can't have helped!

Has JJ gone, according to that piece of ITK earlier?

I had a whisper he was overseas, likely Germany.

Jermaine Jenas has played lots of very good and lots of very bad games for Tottenham Hotspur. Sometimes, he tears Arsenal to pieces. Sometimes he has three giveaways that lead to goals and loses games by himself. Most of the time, he just doesn't do anything. He's not going to play much under Andre Villas-Boas this season and his contract is up at the end of the year. It's time to try to get something for him.

Fulham could be in with a shout again...

Jenas apparently on his way to Sunderland. They're also getting Rose on loan
