Gards has AWESOME info though... hasn't got one wrong yet. Even said Moutinho was doubtful before most on deadline day. Seemed to know when it was back on too.

He really is. I actually take his word pretty seriously when he mentions stuff.

@SkyBet
Spurs missed out on Joao Moutinho in August but the Porto midfielder is now 5/4 from 3/1 to join the N London club

I know it doesn't mean anything but fair play to whoever got 8-1 a few pages back

I'm hoping your current situation had nothing to do with disclosing confidential information on fan websites. ;)

I'd very much like Moutinho in, but we still desperately need an up top creativity injection too. "If" (and it's a big fucking "IF") we are going to buy Moutinho, surely that would mean a change in formation to a 433. I sincerely hope so.

It alters slightly the dynamics of who would be best in next. The next position that drastically needs upgrading (even if we stuck with 4231) would be the Attacking Right side (i.e. Lennon's). I really like Eriksen, but he's definitely best in the centre of a 4231.

Willian whenever I've seen him starts ALM. Doesn't mean he couldn't adapt, and I would take him as the Bale replacement he went, but that leaves players like Isco and Dagoev as best options for that specific slot IMO. Isco and malaga are flying high. Dagoev would be easier to do you would have thought ?

Imagine pulling Moutinho and one of those off:

RB------Kaboul-----Vert-----Ekotto

Moutinho-----Sandro-----Dembele

Dagoev/Isco---Adebayor-----Bale/Willian

That's a fucking tasty line up by EPL standards. With a touch of the old high press intensity, we'd be a seriouys candidate again all of a sudden wouldn't we ?

you mean left? i don't think he's ever started a game on the right, not to say he couldn't play there though.
