The worst part is (and I think we all may feel a sense of this) is that if we somehow landed Gvardiol it could have a similar affect that Van Dijk did at Lpool. Lenglet could battle with Dier for the center position, and the only risk is that Gvardiol hasn't done it in the Prem, but he's about as close as you can get to a sure thing judging on his last couple years of experience.

The possibility of such an investment is what makes anything possible at this stage. They don't invest - we do no businesses or we do the mediocre stuff, they do invest and we as supporters are scraping pennies together for Gvardiol and Mbappe shirts.
