Nothing would surprise me right now, and I mean nothing. Get no one at all, get Gvardiol, or just about anything in between. I think all 3 are possible as things stand, and I'm being very serious.
I love it when the Club has a well thought out plan :cautious:

Unfortunately whilst we could in theory pay the release clause he would have to want to come to us…..
I think the only way would be an absolute monster contract, a la Mudryk, assurances around Conte and sustained QSI investment. Someone selling him a dream.

Feels incredibly unlikely, but I suppose in the case that the Qataris are coming on board this would be as big a statement signing as we could realistically make.

The Qataris are not going to invest in Spurs to be a minority shareholders and thats all they can be. It’s a sports washing exercise for them not an investment decision. Imagine our Daniel making his shrewd transfers and how far away that would be from what the Qataris would want. Never going to happen. Josko is for our dreams..

This is what BILD says. Looks like he’s going up top!

According to BILD information, the England clubs Chelsea and now Tottenham are fighting for the defender. It was Chelsea's turn last summer, when they turned down a 90 million offer from club boss and now group boss Oliver Mintzlaff (47). He even managed to extend Gvardiol's contract until 2027 - including a €112 million exit clause for 2024 (BILD reported exclusively).

But Chelsea remains stubborn and has dared a new venture! With Christopher Vivell (36/technical director), an ex-Leipziger is now in the sporting leadership of the London club. Tottenham also want Gvardiol. The Spurs could afford the defender thanks to the 80 to 100 million from a sale by Harry Kane (29 / rumors about Bavaria).

Sounds like conjecture and waffle tbh. Not wasting my time thinking about it

Isn't the whole point that they want to be minority stakeholders because of PSG? They can't be majority stakeholders of 2 big clubs in Europe so this is the best way of spreading their influence.
