I think the only way would be an absolute monster contract, a la Mudryk, assurances around Conte and sustained QSI investment. Someone selling him a dream.

The Qataris are not going to invest in Spurs to be a minority shareholders and thats all they can be. It’s a sports washing exercise for them not an investment decision. According to BILD information, the England clubs Chelsea and now Tottenham are fighting for the defender. It was Chelsea's turn last summer, when they turned down a 90 million offer from club boss and now group boss Oliver Mintzlaff (47). He even managed to extend Gvardiol's contract until 2027 - including a €112 million exit clause for 2024 (BILD reported exclusively).

But Chelsea remains stubborn and has dared a new venture! With Christopher Vivell (36/technical director), an ex-Leipziger is now in the sporting leadership of the London club. Tottenham also want Gvardiol. The Spurs could afford the defender thanks to the 80 to 100 million from a sale by Harry Kane (29 / rumors about Bavaria).

Isn't the whole point that they want to be minority stakeholders because of PSG? They can't be majority stakeholders of 2 big clubs in Europe so this is the best way of spreading their influence.
