As a Spurs fan, it pains me to say that any promising youngster thinking of joining us should use think twice. Look how many promising youngsters have made it when they signed for us. Is there anyone in the last 15 years beyond Gareth Bale?

From what I understand he is at least as highly rated by his club and in the local area as Jude. Whether that means he goes on to be anywhere near as good is anyone's guess of course but he is clearly a talented kid.

2/3 years ago when the older JB was emerging, a colleague who was also a Birmingham City season ticket holder told me his younger brother was considered the better prospect (in terms of when Jude was his age by comparison). Obviously development can impact things but certainly sounds like he's worth a gamble given how his brother turned out!

All came through the youth set up or were signed as prospects. I’m sure I’m probably forgetting a few there. But they’ve all had varying degrees of success from being global superstars to simply making it as first team regulars.

It’s only really in the last few years we’ve struggled to blood young players as well as we used to.

I am not suggesting something that’s unheard of . Thing though am not sure is , if Multi year loan is still valid or new loan rule change restricts to just 1 yr at a time
