I think 15m is a little steepish, but I think you have signed an industrious, technically good, pass and move player there who will be of much more use to your new manager than 20m Henderson will.
Good signing IMO.

Allen will do well there though. He's very good at the little things and controls a game well. Still I can't help but think he's not the best we (or Liverpool) could get for that price.

Dembele and him are quite similar and the price tags aren't much off. Both are adept at going forward, in defense, and creating. Dembele's stronger on the ball, while Allen's a bit more elusive on it. I personally would be good with either of them.

I think its a joke purely and simply because of the price (althoigh I've had some further info suggesting we are aggressively trying to get price down to £12.5m basic but its still slighty too much and a good chunk of money that is needed elsewhere).
He is still relatively unproven and we have more pressing concerns in the team like upfront and out wide and possibly left back but we have twenty-twelve-teen hundred millions centre mids.
I've been told were trying to bring some big name attacking player on loan for a year and its looking promising (dunno who their determined for it not to be leaked. There's all kinds of drams going on at LFC to do with leaks - which one of is my mate lol and the club ain't happy but thats another story but they seriously reckon it could of caused a deal to fuck up!), but we should be buying the attacking players not loaning them and if needs be bring in a CM on loan and get Allen next year.
Keep Aquilani whose a quality player and would do well (like he did the little he played for Rafa) in the 3 with Gerrard and Lucas and use that money for aforementioned weaker areas. Henderson is improving ll the time too and will be perfect for Rodgers system and looking at Rodgers ability to bring young British players on, he could, given time, possibly develop Henderson to be a similar sort of player as Allen (neither an Attacking or Defensive Midfielder just a CN who keeps things ticking over).
Allen's release clause isn't going anywhere and he's about to have his first kid with his mrs and just bought a new house in Swansea, so leave him be, see if he replicates his form whilst letting him develop further under Laudrup next season, and if he does bring him in next Summer.
FWIW, I do think he's probably good enough, but not 100% certain, its just not a problem position that we need to spend that money on imho.
