gotta give the lad credit for this fresh prince style slaggin lol

Now, this is a story all about how
My career got flipped-turned upside down
I'd like to play in every game
But from the stands I stare
Countin' the cost of being just another overpaid spare

In Camberwell London, born and raised
Palace Academy was where I spent most of my days
Pimpin' MySpace 'n' revisin' all cool
Playin' keepie-uppie outside London Nautical School
When a coupla agents, who were up to no good
Started wavin' contracts at my parenthood
twenty minutes v watford and my pop thought deep
He said 'You're signin' for Spurs so you can buy me a Jeep'

I begged and pleaded with him day after day
But he packed my Nike Vapors and sent me on my way
So I was leavin' my team for an inadequate fee
Crossin' the Thames to be paid the most I can be

I waited for a debut, but when it came near
Ramos signed a Croat, pushed me to the rear
If anything I say his selections ain't right
But I thought 'Nah, forget it - Cristal at Chinawhite!'

Now I got my own shirt, number 78
And I yell to the gaffer 'How long will I wait?'
Now I look at my career
So this is it
Warmin' the bench, the price of Bull-S***

On another note Bostock is allegedly supposed to be very intelligent so I assume the gangsta rap is BS, then again maybe not.

Fair play that was quite good, still unfair though.

He's, what, 16?

So young to be exposed to the truely dark side of human nature.

What a bunch of arseholes.

Gangsta rap? He says he's into gospel rap... Where did the gangsta rap thing come from?

Incidentally, I rate myself as a fairly intelligent chap - politics graduate from a good uni, not bad in a debate (a master-debater, if you like...Eek) & erm, I like gangsta rap. Sorry. For me, its all about music & wordplay, that's all...

On Bostock & his Palace nemeses, while I can understand the frustration of Palace fans, there can be absolutely NO justification for saying things like "I want to rape your mum" & "I hope you get AIDS or break both your legs" to anyone, let alone a 16 year old kid. Its just wrong.

LOL at comparng this situaton to the S*l scenario.

I wasn't. I was taking a pop at the implication that Spurs fans are above this sort of thing.

And anyway, for Palace fans, Bostock does seem to have been the Great White Hope for the future, as Judas was for us in the dark days.

Disgraceful comments. I'm not really familiar with Bebo but does the '6 day' thing near the top mean how long since he logged on? I do hope so, as I'll be honest I don't know many people who should have to deal with that kind of stuff. Especially a young lad (albeit a seemingly mature one).

If you are reading this JB, then I hope you can use this difficult situation to become stronger as a person and player. You've clearly got a gift and we're bloody delighted you've chosen to develop and perfect that at Tottenham. We're all behind you, fella.

Sol's betrayal was pretty unique in its totality but... we have no leg to stand on here.

Exactly, we did after all publically (and I doubt many can say they haven't sung it at least once) chant that we would happily find him hanging from a tree, and then accuse him of having AIDS.

If that makes us different or somehow better, I'm not sure how. If anything that is/was worse. Especially given the fact it was 7 years ago.

I have never sung the hanging from the tree song and I've never accused him of having aids and had bebo or facebook existed at the turn of the century I wouldn't have posted on his page though no doubt some people would however, whilst there are similarities there are major differences in that sol could have gone a year earlier but waited to maximise his dosh and he went to arsenal.

Jordan is right on this but the boy is here now so he deserves our full support no matter what.

Jordan is not right on this, Jordan is wrong on this, Jon Bostock left Palace because it was clear to him that they would fail him in his development at a critical time, if not he'd have stayed and that is what Jordan needs to address.
If anyone believes that he did it for the money then why didn't he go to chelsea? he had the opportunity and he would have got even more money.
It is quite simple, he chose Spurs over Palace and chelsea for football reasons.
It is not good enough for a club to claim some moral right to a young player like that and don't forget that they didn't discover him, he was a palace fan and just turned up on their doorstep.

Well, what can I say other than it proves the lad made the right choice in moving to
Spurs.

Home tie against palace in the cup and I bet he gets place in the squad.

Forget the Sol Campbell comparison because of le' Arse signing him. What about Steven Carr? One of our best players at the time, left to 'win trophies' at a club who were a stronger side.... He still gets huge amounts of stick at WHL and on here, even Carrick gets booed. We're no different, the spurs fans who use Bebo would do exactly the same thing in that situation.

At the end of the day, how many of us would put up with those comments, to say walk out in front of 36,000 fans (of whatever club, let alone the mighty yids). The lad gets to play the game he loves infront of millions of viewers and will be adored by thousands! Some people (not pascal chimbonda) would probably do that for very little money, maybe even for free, i'm sure the millions of pounds makes it even easier to ignore small minded comments.

Of course as bostock is a religious chap, he'll probably just turn the other cheek or poke out a few eyes...
