Do you know how much money he spent at Utd?
Totally agree with your point only city .west ham and Leicester are playing exciting football..but nah ..if mourinho had £500 million to spend he would still be pissing off his players constantly and turning the beautiful game into a tedious bore .

When I think about Spurs these days I just feel deeply sad. No joy watching my team, no hope of glory or even things getting better. It shouldn't be this way. Whatever is rotten in the club, and I have no inside knowledge, be it Mourinho, players, board members or all of them, just leave. Please. Let the new world begin and the sun come up. Tired of feeling sick inside thinking about us. Yes it's only football. But Tottenham are a big part of my life and it does bring me down. However much I try to not let it.

The players are creative, Jose is destructive. They play to create, he plays to destroy. ...a conflict of minds.
Jose reacts to the game whereas he should want control. Jose is an arrogant fool with an ego bigger than his ability. Buy the best players and I could get them to win games., coach this lot now thats a skill he hasnt got.

My mindfulness from yesterday took a bit of a beating after another shocking performance / team selection

The vast majority of comments posted now smell of desperation, frustration and acceptance of defeat, which is sad to read.

I've witnessed the George Graham era, which was equally depressing, but his squad was far more inferior to the one we have now, so this just amplifies the shambolic position we are in. I think we all agree there needs to be yet another major overhaul, with this one probably defining the clubs longer term future.

We cannot afford to limp along in this lifeless manner for a minute longer. We're the butt of everyone's jokes, we're the laughing stock of English football. We have to find a route out of this desperate malaise or we will spend years getting back to where we were 3-4 years ago.

I apologise in advance but I need to vent my frustration

Given our league position and aspirations of top 4 we needed to win last nights match. The team he selected and tactics deployed were not designed to win any match. 3 at the back is rarely a success and was compounded by 2 defensive mids

Any player in possession had few attacking options as any unmarked players were generally behind them?

By halftime it was blatantly obvious that the shape of the team was wrong and Everton were increasingly in possession and pushing us deeper. No change to personnel or tactics at half time ??

The inevitable happened and Everton scored at which time the manager reacted, made the subs and we started to attack. Why wait, why not start like that?

With the squad at his disposal we could be playing attacking football with panache and swagger. The players should be enjoying their football and taking our game to the opposition. The talented players we had on the bench last night was greater than that selected. What is Mourinho affraid of with his reliance on ineffectual dull football

He has no passion, he has sucked the life out of the players, the supporters and our club. I am beyond dissapointed and just want him gone now so we can start the renewal process

I believe the players if used properly are so much better than what we are seeing now and that responsibilty is purely down to the manager

Let's move on now.

It’s funny, all this talk of how negative he is, how defensive etc., yet scoring goals is not really our issue. Our defence making individual errors and conceding goals seems to be our main problem. Perhaps that’s why Jose line ups are so defensive? Our defence still finds ways of conceding goals regardless of how we try and help/protect them though, unfortunately.

If we do get a new manager, will people still feel like we need a new defence, or do people genuinely believe just a change of manager will do the trick defensively? I suppose the reason I ask is, what’s the point of sacking him for a new boss if we aren’t going to change the defence? And if the plan is to change the defenders because they aren’t good enough, then why sack him? Why not get him good defenders instead?

Why not get a good manager AND good defenders?

Jose couldn't manage a fruit and veg stall these days.

Because we have been shite. And whether you count only ordinary, scheduled match rounds or also count postponed matches, we are still shite. If we have picked up more points than reported, it’s because we’ve also played more games and it’s still shite. But the premise is clear, they can count only ordinary match rounds if they want to, and based on that you’ve guessed it, we’ve been shite. I’ll remove the spam rating and give you an optimistic instead.

I think it’s fair to want the players, as someone on here rightfully pointed out, that should have been out the door years ago to finally actually get sold before we fire yet another manager. Or else what’s the point of even bringing in a new manager. Nah fuck it, Mourinho first because everything is solely his fault, including things that happened before he arrived.
