Willow needs to get this next appointment right because so much is, IMO, hanging on it. A number of players will be looking to see what ambition the club will show, not least, Harry Kane. Ambition in the identity of the next manager and ambition in the transfer market.

But TBH, would that even be enough. This club needs a thorough keelhauling, it's stale and Mourinho is only a part of the reason for that.
I totally agree, my only concern though is it’s already too late...

I don't see a change happening before the cup final, although I wish I did.

If he went now, who would you bring in? Ledley until the end of the season and then Nagellsman in the summer?

Since match day 20, we've picked up 11 points from 12 matches. That's the third worst overall.
We have dropped 20 points from winning positions.
We have no identity whatsoever. We sit back and pray the opposition lose the ball, then we hit the ball long and hope it sticks, nine times out of ten it doesn't, then we sit back again and repeat the process. The team relies on the individual brilliance of players such as Kane and Son. There is absolutely no coaching taking place at this football club.

Jose Mourinho is finished as a manager and the only hope we have now of somehow beating City and slightly softening the embarrassment and pain this dinosaur has put us through all season is to relieve him of his job and hope to god for a new manager bounce.

I've never felt such a disconnect to this club. The man is ruining football for me.

" i hope you dont find me arrogant, i think i am a special one"
" wenger is a specialist in faulure"

jose should take along hard look at himself!

100m pound in football these days for a top 6 club is the same as buying something from pound land.

The Sherwood stuff was purely because we ended up 6th that season and it’s hard to turn your nose up at that. Dosent mean I wanted him in charge long term but we have had worse seasons .

Hate to think what forums would have been like if they were around under Gerry Francis or Christian gross or even Glenn hoddle toward the end

THIS forum was around under Glenn. I remember as I was a regular back in those days. Yes it was a dark time but there was still always love for Glenn the guy and Glenn the player, just not Glenn the bonkers manager.

I still think Jose is a great bloke with the right way at looking at life (hard work etc) but unfortunately today's people (bar a few) are way too soft and self obsessed. Jose would have literally cleaned up everything in the 50s and 60s, and he got the best out of the last generation of proper players (Terry, Lampard etc)... There's just too few of those types now. It's all about social media and being pampered

this is why he's no longer great, he hasnt evolved with the times, players are more soft now - if he is as special as he often procliams, he needs to recognise this and adjust!

Sacking Jose and giving Ledley the job until the end of the season would make Levy look like he's completely out of ideas (with all due respect to Ledley - a brilliant defender but totally unproven as a coach).

Yet you lose your shit when other people post theirs.

You probably need to step away from SC for a while and calm down :D
How have I lost my shit? Because I have a different opinion? Because I get frustrated with being misquoted or just at silly drivel being posted about bad Chelsea man? Because I don’t just lick your arse unashamedly?

I’ll gladly take a break from this place, the atmosphere in Spurs Chat these days is just as shit as it was in the new stadium. See ya

Wow. I’m a BSODL but Levy did a bad deal there. His brand is about managing finances and doing financially good deals but he fucked up that one.
Is this the Dulux deal before I click on it?

Interesting

My main problem with this is they think Mourinho and Wilder are twins.

Incase you are wondering, the only difference is Mourinho had money behind him...

I’ve got a bad feeling we’ve got a Keane & berbatov transfer window coming up but with it being Kane this time. We haven’t reached bottom yet by a long way.
