Of all the 10,846 players to be linked with Tottenham since the end of the season, who's the one, more than anyone else, would you just lurve to see at the Lane ?

Only out of linked players? Veloso would be great to plug the holes in our midfield. However, if Berbatov were to go, you'd have to say Eto'o.

Makoun. Not very exciting, but I think he does the job we are most lacking in out team. I'd say he is more ready to have an impact in the Prem than Veloso. But, have we been linked with Barry or De la red?

Of the players I know something about, Cuellar of Rangers - to me he looks better than Dunne

but I'm sure there are others more important - but I can't comment on most of them

DC Boy, Have you been 'at the sauce' again? lol. Dunne is a far better defender BUT he is THE 'classic' English type of CB (slow to turn)....whereas Cuellar is GOOD but more so as a SPL CB. I would prefer to see Cuellar in a year of TWO! COYS!

Price doesnt always mean the best ability, its just what the club demands for the player. also how long they have on ther econtract plays a big part in the value of a player

Hi Yid-ol take your point - though I don't think that's the actual market value now is it of those two - but your general point is sound - however usually if one player is valued more highly than another as in Cuellar v Dunne - then it's unlikely Dunne will be that much better as Bingy implies - indeed park lane has already backed up my opinion ;-)

and people will back up Bingys oppinion that Dunne will be better than Cuellar, having one person back you up really doesnt mean much

Rangers dont need to sell him, they have now got enough money from the Uefa cup run and us paying them for Hutton, which is why the slapped a high price on him (which is way too much) he is a good player, but there are alot of other players out there better than him, that will also probably be cheaper as well
