Younès Kaboul: “I respect Arsenal but even if they had doubled my wages I would never have gone there” Such are Younès Kaboul’s feelings for Tottenham Hotspur that he would never have accepted to join Arsenal in his career.

I always liked Kaboul. But let’s be honest, Wenger would never have signed him.

I think he's exactly the type of signing Wenger would like to have made (but not for the price we paid)

I liked Kaboul and I'm probably in a minority in thinking he should have stayed

He's a good egg.
He wasn't when he was here. Say all the nice things he likes now, but he was an absolute cock during his time here. Adebayor got all the shit for it, but Kaboul was as just as complicit in all the trouble making and back stabbing behind the scenes.

I didn't know that. Is that really the case? That's a shame to hear.

Yes it's true and Capoue.

They were blaming the kids(Harry, Ryan Mason etc) for our poor performances proper bully boy tactics. All got very physical at one point, and fortunately Poch intervened and they were fucked off.

Im not sure Poch and the younger players would agree in 2014 !
Well, I wasn't aware of what was going on. Thankfully, I had @Trix to take some time to actually inform me (and anyone else who may not have been aware) of what was going on.

Didn't know any of that. Knew that Adebayor was a disruptive influence, as I saw discussion about it at the time, but wasn't aware of who, if anyone, else was involved. It's a shame to hear and makes me like Kaboul, and also Capoue who I also quite liked, a lot less. Thanks for the education, Trix.

Lennon was also one of those, I seem to remember.

Be surprised if that's true,Lennon being uncertain about his future with Poch seeking a more youthful approach sure.Enjoying the status quo perhaps, got comfy in his standing within the team.Had a great season linking with Bale as his star rose,Lennons began to dwindle he became the ultimate defensive winger worked hard but gave up taking anyone on iirc.

His time was up did'nt like it,bit like Winks today i'd imagine.Spurs is all he's known club's outgrown him,we all want him to succeed never gonna happen. Like Lennon I hope it's remedied sooner than later, didn't we release or atleast not seek a substantial fee to enable Aaron to move on? Burnley if memory ain't failing me. Similar offer to Rose he chose to Netflix & chill his final season though.

He did side with the 3 I've mentioned already. Wasn't involved in the physical stuff, but was blaming the kids.
