Wijnaldum plays in a role where he is free to attack and put less emphasis on defending, just because he is scoring goals at Newcastle doesn't mean he will repeat the same here and it doesn't mean be is comfortable leading the line.

OK, I'm probably getting this totally wrong, but he appears to suggest that 4-3-3 may be an option if/when we sign another striker.

I like this. Fuck knows who'd go where, but I think it could be a good call.

What's likely IF that's the plan, and IF we get Berahino?

Can't see us dropping Alli or Eriksen any time soon though. If we do get Berahino I can only see him subbing for Kane or the unlikely prospect of us playing 442.

Eriksen, I have a feeling will need to up his game IF we sign another striker/attacker, who has the quality that dictates he should be in the starting 11.

I'm feeling a sense of De Ja Vu this window After Alli signed his contract extension & with Kane rumoured to follow suit before the end of the window, it all seems an all too familiar situation in my eyes.

If we fail to sign a striker, no doubt this will be brought up again by Levy in his end of window wrap up. a way of him deflecting from the real issue.

Hopefully this is just me being paranoid

At the time I felt the last window was worse than the Frazier-Campbell and Saha window as we didnt have a real no.9 to lead the line other than Kane

Im at the point now, where I feel I wish we kept soldado, at least we could have kept him for the cup games

Kane had an amazing last season but he hardly had a summer off because of the U21's and now he is unlikely to have a proper summer off this season

Not signing a striker this window would be disastrous imo
