I know it's important for everyone on here to hate the media because, as they don't always sing our praises, they have an Anti-Spurs Agenda. But some of the comments in this thread are paranoid to the point of craziness.
Why are there "I hate the press" comments in here? In the two sources cited, the reference to King's setback is no more than one throwaway line; one even has a direct quote from Ramos. This seems entirely fair to me. What are they supposed to do? Ignore the idea of King having a slight setback in his knee lest they upset brain donors on SpursCommunity?
Had the stories been headlined "MASSIVE KING SETBACK FOR SPURS" you lot may have had a point. But they weren't. Now just stop being so silly.
the motivational factor in King being rested is because of his recent knee injury. I think it's entirely reasonable to read the conext of Ramos quote as being precaution over his knee rather and said specific problems that have arsien in his knee from Kick-off against the Chavs till now.
"how's your knee Ledley?"
"a little bit sore boss"
"ok well no need to put you through it on Tuesday, Rather you be fit for next Wednesday to crush the Wolly Scum... might give you a run on Saturday... but we'll chat closer to the day"
