Exemption pls.
Not only beating Germany, but finishing ahead of Germany in the table...they deserve a medal for beating the World Champions
I just have so much love for tbe bloke. Legend. He is welcome in my home anytime! There is no way we need to upgrade on him. He'll only get better and cooler! #KrautsOut
if he doesn't win gold, the only way would be getting Brittish citizenship, not sure if he is married but calling on all SC ladies (only one of you needs to marry him, we don't need headlines that he is heading to prison for bigamy) help Son out for the help of his football career please
Wouldn't rule out him marrying Wimmer. Their bromance is still going!
as long as an EU one covers him I don't care how he gets it

The South Korean players were pelted with eggs and Union Jack cushions on their arrival back in S Korea. Can anyone explain to me exactly WTF almighty is going on there??? What a bunch of dickheads they have as 'supporters'.
.
Possibly. We're obliged to release him for that but not for the Asian Games, so there was talk we might have agreed to let him go to the Games in return for him not being called up for the Cup.Is he in the Asian cup as well ? That’s the whole of January. Basically next season is pretty much f**ked for him. Will probably miss 3 months with Asian games and cup and recovery time ?

Tradition for an unsuccessful returning sports team.
I'm so confused, at 1st when I checked up the info I saw the Asia Cup was in January, I then saw somewhere that he would be missing the start of the season, and mention of the Asia Games. what bloody comp are we giving permission too, and if he wins I take it that is his last chance to gain exemption other than getting married which I'm sure if he was with someone from the EU he would of done it by now (or is he being clever and making sure he only does the last step if he fails in the last chance saloon).

The 3-week rest is between the end of a player's participation in summer tournaments (anything from the World Cup to the European U19s) and the start of their pre-season, so not relevant here.Asian games is August finishes sept 2nd. Asian cup is January. Apparently he said we’ve given permission to go to both. I know there is a 3 week rest rule for european tournaments not sure if applies to this. But possible he could miss 3 months of season depending how deep s Korea go.
I don't understand why there can't be some sort of delayed exemption. Why can't he do it when he's like 32? I'm surprised there's no room for manoeuvre on that. It's especially harsh on footballers who have a short career. Son's a lucky one to be earning 100k a week but I feel for those athletes who earn less than 10 percent of that in Korea.
