I was not at the game today but have spoken to a couple of mates who were and they mentioned that after the final whistle Niko picked up the ball and booted it towards the director's seats...

This kinda contradicts HR's post match comments about his attitude.

Anyone else catch this? Coincidence or not...?

The guy has a right to be pissed off

He was very important last season and Harry has hardly given him a sniff this year

It seems that he and Keane had fallen out with HR big time. Nothing was the same for Keane after the Dublin incident. I wonder what it is with Kranky.

Think your reading far too much into it.

Harry has brought Niko twice, they have a long history they won't have fallen out.

He did kick the ball up into the air, but it was because he had the ball when the whistle blew, and thats a typical elated reaction when you've just won the match by a whisker.

He did though storm into the tunnel, and this did look like a strop. However, I cant blame him, and the onus is on Harry now to make sure he takes good care of Niko and plays him when necessary. He is above Pienaar in the pecking order, and should take over VDV's spot if he doesnt recover in time for next game.

Dont agree with the Corluka bit. The fact was he got injured, Hutton came in and played well so he deserved to keep the spot. Yeh Corluka was probably disappointed not to play but fact was Hutton took his chance, thats football. Now Corluka has come in after Huttons injury and he has taken his chance to reclaim his spot back for the forseeable future, as its unwise to keep chopping and changing the defence unless necessary.

I do agree what others have said about Niko, if he has such a fantastic attitude as 'Arry said the why does Pienaar go into the team ahead of him? Fair enough Bale has been amazing over the last year and has kept Kranjcar out, but 'Arry makes it sound he's always had faith in Niko so why buy someone else for his position and effectively relegate him to 3rd choice in his position. Seems a bit strange.

Plus, didn't he turn down a move in the jan window? Doesn't sound like he's that unhappy if he did.

I thought I noticed him sorta shout towards the bench during the celebration as if to make a point.

There's no way they've had a falling out. Even if they had he should play the best fuckin team regardless given the circumstances.

As everyone's said he's got every right to be pissed, and if he cant get a start after todays performance when bale, modric and hudd are still injured he'll never get a fuckin game. If that happens he should have a serious word with Harry, and so should the board.

Obviously went on an adrenalin fueled run when he scored. Just happened to be standing two yards from the sideline with the ball as the final whistle went. Quickly despatched it into the crowd and seemed to make his exist straight down the tunnel. What do people expect? He has been on the periphery and is not the sort of bloke to be giving it the big one in these circumstances.

Jordan went to him to embrace him and he walked straight past him and down the tunnel. Rightly so, he's been treated like shit.

To be fair, Kranky's been a bit of a fatty until today, where he looked quite trim. Still, no need for us to have treated him like an outcast. It's not as if he's ginger or anything.
