Walker is so much better than people give him credit for. He suffers because he looks like he's perennially just finished huffing a balloon of nitrous oxide.

Alot of people dont like Walker and I can't seem to figure out why. He's one of the top RB's in the PL already and has alot of potential, IMO. He still makes some mistakes, but has definitely cut down on them in the last few years. This season, ever since he's come back from injury, we've looked so much better as a team. £20m is probably a fair price if we were to sell Walker outside of England. In England, we should make United pay about £30m. The English bonus plus United being a rival, in theory.

I'd hope we don't sell Walker yet. I really like him and he is crucial to the team, IMO.

Walker is on a different level imo. Also we have looked so much better with him back in the team.

Walker is a different level to Clyne?

Lol gotta love the 'ol Spurs blinkers ;-)

As I said, I don't dislike Walker and hope he can iron out his defensive deficiencies but Clyne is a very good right-back.

I am of two minds on this though and am no way anti-Walker.

I thought I'd just add a caveat, to my earlier post, that Walker had a good game last night.

Walker clearly still have things to better in his game but for some reason he's extremely under-valued in here. His defensive qualities are often what is being questioned and I may not remember correctly, but I cannot remember any mistakes of his leading to a goal since he has come back.

I like Walker, but if we had a chance of getting Nathaniel Clyne out of any money we make for Walker then I would consider it.

Clyne is a superior defencer and I've always quite liked him from his Palace days.

Walker could also possibly develop further though.

If we sold Walker for £20m, do you really think we could sign Clyne for less (if at all)?

Hence why I said if there was a chance ;-)

If I was in charge of that kind of stuff I'd be sounding out clubs just to make sure I always have plan A, B, C etc...

But as I said I'm on the fence, for me it's Walker or Clyne as nice to have as many English players as possible (y)

If we get £20 million we should 100% take it we have Yedlin who is basically the same kind of player ie better going forward than defending.. I would use part of the money on a someone who is a better defender...
