He didn't leave for less than the bag of beans that was offered by a club in England. You dont think he left a little on the cheap? Fair enough

Fuck that, make them wait until the last second.

Sky Sports News HQ understands that Bertrand, along with his fellow England full-back Kyle Walker, could be City players within a fortnight.

The only real positive of Walker going to City other than the cash is establishing a relationship with a club who only have good players - ie., we might get one of theirs in future. Not saying it would happen overnight, but in 5-10 years when we can match wages, we could be interested in someone like Jesus. (the City Jesus, not that Jesus...)
He's a fullback, hardly any of them can cross well consistently.Walker's a great player but still can't cross a ball that well. Interesting value put on him compared to other professions and their required skills. Football money's ' gone mad!
I think Poch already thinks he has his replacement in Trippier.Depends on how much it impacts us. Hypothetically speaking, if we needed the money from Walker's sale to fund his replacement (or any player) I'd rather it were done as soon as.
I honestly believe it is not about us wanting to keep Walker. We obviously would like to keep him (as long as he hasn't completely pissed Poch off)We shouldn't sell because we need back up in all positions. I know Walker can't cross that well and his defending sometimes goes awry but he is still a good squad player and we will need that going in to next seasons Premier League and Champions League competitions.
I don't mind Walker going as part of MP's philosophy of bringing youngsters through.
MP's strength is getting kids playing at a high level, and the top prospects will come if they see there is a great chance to progress to the first team.
The price we pay is that good players will be sold.
I'm not quite sure where Sissoko fits into this model though.
