Fuck me, what a game! Atletico pull a goal back against the run of play, Valdes flaps at a free-kick and the ball drops to Susaeta 2-1. 1 minute later Yaya Toure crashes a great shot against the bar from about 25 yards and ball bounces down and DOESN'T cross the line but the ref gives a goal. LOL. 3-1

Villarreal-Real Madrid

38 mins gone and Real take the lead with Raul getting on the end of a great ball forward from Sniejder.

0-1 Madrid

Edit. HT, both teams playing well and creating chances.

0-3 Quality finish from Ruud Van Horseface. Great through ball from Ramos.

These American commentators are hilarious (shite), they go waaayyyyy OTT. They literally cream themselves every time Real go forward.

Also, they actually call Ruud Van Nistelrooy Ruud Van Horseface.

I hate to admit it but that was a bloody awesome performance by Real Madrid. Perhaps the best in atleast 3 years. Sneijder will be massive for them, and it's already proving his worth. Impressive performance and they totally destroyed Villareal. But Barcelona are also looking very good, but they did their business at home.

I'm a Barca fan but that was a joy to watch from Real, superb passing and movement. Felt sorry for Villarreal as they were playing quite well but Madrid were just clinical.

Oh how I wish Jol tried to pull out all the stops to sign Sneijder a year ago.

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard has praised his fellow countryman Wesley Sneijder following a great start to the league campaign for the Real Madrid midfielder.

Indeed, despite the fact that the ex-Ajax man isn't an out-and-out forward, Rijkaard feels that he is a Pichichi winner in the making.

The manager said, "He is great on both flanks, he can play in attacking midfield and in the centre, and he has a great mentality and winning character.
