First of all, I have NEVER bemoaned his 25m or 30m price tag. Go through every single comment of mine. I never differentiate between players by price. Listen - we bought him, not to improve his skills. We bought him because our scouts thought he is almost a finished article. Sadly, he is not even close to that.
With literally no right foot, he is being eaten alive currently by PL defenses. Show him to his right side & get the ball from him.

Look at Bojan - player with similar technique, similar build. Look what he is doing at Stoke & the impact he is having.

Substituted at half time at home against Crystal Palace...Why ? He was woeful. That is fucking objective

You didn't, but I put you in the same bracket of people who are so desperate to have their opinions proved right they'd use the money stick to beat him with even though it's not his fault he cost that much, you said he's been here for over a year as if it's meant to be some sort of justification for your thoughts not taking into account that he's been injured for the majority, why else would you say that?

There you go again with the comparisons, yeah look at Bojan, yeah great he's playing well, is this evidence of another player who has settled in quicker than Lamela, you my friend need to be patient and you need to appreciate that not every player has the same bedding in time or the same mentality but that can be improved (look at Bale/Ramsey) so you''re just gonna have to accept that some players take longer to bed in than others. Young player playing in his first full year in the Premiership in being inconsistent shocker!!

But as I said to you, you can sit their and throw your toys out the pram and stop trying to desperately make yourself feel better by cheap point scoring in order to have your opinion feel validated or you can get behind him and do what you're meant to do as a supporter of this club, your choice.

I will support our players until they leave our club. Sure I get frustrated when they don't produce and I have my favorites, but whether it is Lamela or Lennon, I will support and cheer for them when they put on that shirt. Why? Because bemoaning them will do nothing for their confidence or my blood pressure. 30m (or whatever figure we forked over) was a lot for a player and the feeling is that he should produce for that money, yet I will stand by him until he wears another kit.
