Portsmouth v Tottenham
_44288240_por_tott_0506.gif

This has the makings of a good game. Tottenham had a good win last week and have players returning but I still fancy Portsmouth to win this one.
Pompey will lose lots of players to the African Cup of Nations soon and they will be desperate to pick up maximum points before then.

Match preview
Prediction: 2-1

And to be honest, I can't help but think it will be a tough one tomorrow...
Hoping for a draw though.

Defsta - nothing stops me saying that he is a prize ****. Because he is, regardless of what he says in his weekly predictions.

I think the first goal will be crucial and will determine who wins the game.

On a different note, its will be nice to see once more the nice reaction Sol Cambell will from the Tottenham fans.

We'll either get humped or win in a high scoring game. Since I will be there I would imagine the former but frankly since it's Spurs this season who the fuck knows?

As for Campbell **** - well, I think we all know what kind of reaction he'll get

I can't see us losing. I was very suprised that the one week he thought we'd lose, I think we'll get at least a point. If I was a betting man, I'd say we'll get all three.

I can't see us losing.

Me either, we're not on TV and I'm not going to the game.

Seriously though I think we'd do well to get a point down there. A win would be very impressive.

Lawro is a 'typical' blind, ex-English 1st Div footballer (who starred for Ireland!) but he is as blind as the rest of his 'cronies' (and I say that as one who used to listen to what he says) in the English game. I can't blame him for what he says but, like all other pundits in England (and Ireland) they tend to stick to the 4 'favs' and 1 or 2 'newby's', last years Spurs etc. That said, can we object to anything that is said by Lawro or any of the other 'TV' pundits, when OUR team produce such poor performances from week to week? I suggest that we should look to our 'hero's at WHL before we beging to 'strow stones' in Lawro's direction, no matter how ill advised he seems. He was just comming around to 'our' way of thinking.....ENTER Levi/Commolli and......in one foul swoop, we are back to pre 2005 and the JOKE Yid's once again. Not for long, I contend, and a bright new departure is once 'again' a distinct possibility. It beggars belief what has transpired at WHL in recent months. We are being tipped (by Ramos) to end up in mid table and that is a true reflection of where we deserve to be positioned in out present 'guise'. When all is said and done, I am living in hope more than expectation but I have faith in Ramos and predict a bright future over the next 10 years.....OR maybe 20 years? Well, sometime within the next 40 years. On the other hand he may see sense and follow MJ before his reputation is too sullied! Yes, I am speaking from the position of a 'WEARY' Yid....again....but Rome was not built in a day (relegation and Uefa suspensions accepted! lol). Onwards and upwards Ladies COYS!

I find it hillarious how so many people on here think that if Lawro predicts us to lose it is a personal attack at us. Despite the somewhat warped view on here, he is actually often very accurate with his predictions. Grow up some of you

Idiots.

Lawro's predictions are actually usually pretty much accurate. I don't particularly like him as a person and a pundit, but I don't think he's a '****' like you lot do. Because thats fucking ridiculous.

I get really frustrated with the whole, 'oh, lets just call him a ****' mentality that many football fans have. Another example of this ridiculous, unnecessary mob-voice is the Sol Campbell situation. Everybody calls him a ****. Perhaps he deserved it for a couple of years, but near to 10 years later, we still boo him, call him a '****', brand him gay. He's not gay. And from what I have read, and heard from him in interviews, he seems a decent enough bloke. He made mistakes.

I enjoy the occasional booing of a player, as its in the nature of the game. But when the banter turns absurdly into true hatred, for me it no longer makes any sense.

I have this pet-peeve with people who express ridiculous emotions like these because they are just stupid people who say things like these simply because that is how they have been programmed to respond to certain situations. It seems to me, that a lot of the time, people seem incapable of expressing any pure emotion, and refuse to even glance at what they truly think individually, and instead, mimic what they have learned from other stupid people, what is the proper demonstrations for emotions in certain situations.

It gets me mad. But despite my irritation, I am also vulnerable to 'mob-rule'.

Rant over.
