Anyone else watching (he asks, fully expecting this thread to die on its arse)?

Looks like it’s all over after 35 minutes, because Port Vale are 2-0 up and Mansfield’s Ollie Hawkins has been sent off. His first booking was outrageous - he seemed to be holding a PV player by the face before pushing him over!

That said, PV manager Darrell Clarke has got them playing some lovely stuff, especially on the break. Execution is limited due to the players’ ability, but he’s got some great ideas.

I am. As you said Vale can play some really nice football moving through midfield and down the flanks. From the back, it's kick the fucking ball as far away as you can.

Hawkins brainless twice and has really cost his team. Just as I'm typing, the Vale keeper had an absolute howler, fumbling on to the Mansfield striker. Cleared off the line. Don't think Vale could have asked for a better half.

Stags giving it a damn good go now despite being down to ten. Vale have had two goals chalked off for offside, but Mansfield are getting more possession.
