These little things, tedious as they are, they make me worry about Ledley's future when his inevitable retirement comes. He needs to think of life after Football, but he strikes me as someone who's naively assumed that the ride will last forever.

Problem with Ledley is that he's now been tarred with this drunkard brush and it doesn't matter where he is or what he's doing, if any single picture - a photograph depicting a fraction of a second of life with no context or commentary - makes him look like he's pulling a face then he's obviously drunk, if he's frowning then he's obviously about to get into a ruck etc.

Journos shouldn't be allowed to see the pictures they are going to use before the article is written, then perhaps the content wouldn't be geared entirely around the expression on someone's face for one 8000th of a second.

It's also pathetic that so many people swallow it up.

But, as said above, if it's just a few cock-shots he's sent to a lass, as far as i was aware he's not married or kids or anything, so what's the big deal? As long as he had the common sense to not have his wang and his face in the same pic then it's all pretty inconclusive. Even if there is a face visible, i get the same bus each morning and there's a guy who looks like a slightly shorter Ledders - i know it's not him but he looks a lot like him - if the picture is that awful then how can they be sure it's him and not just someone who looks like him?

Hang on, it's the Sun, i forgot; facts don't matter, it's all about the sensationalism of their transition into a less-glossy version of Heat magazine.
