This is what happens when you hire a young ex player whos average at best to manage your team. If hes a pure young tactician with no playing experience. I think they might be ok. If hes an ex player whos older / more experience / better, i think its ok too.

But if i were the players i will be like. Cmon you werent even the best player on our team. You werent the smartest, and you arent even old enough to command toby. Who the fuck are you? How are you. even supposed to convinced me?

Its like a fresh grad coming to your work place telling you what to do.

Anothet masterstroke by levy. Very nice
I agree. But I think there's remit in Mason to command this team, with his inspiring back story and being one of our own. But it will only be a matter of how long his Ted talks can last. A victory will get the roses smelling nice and sweet. A defeat will similarly reveal the thorns and getting the lads all tensed up again.

And he can do that until he scores a goal in the 80th minute. Lamela doesn't score or even assist anywhere near enough.

tbf youre not wrong. Lamelas "PaSsIoN" has seen him take this club for a ride. Lack of end product, endless injuries and one of the highest wages. Its a joke.

Ha never had a chance did we. I'll be calling my old man for an apology

Funny how things work out. Neither my Dad nor Grandad were interested in football, but in true glory hunter style my Dad got seduced by the 60/61 double winning team.

Little did he know that was, as Harry said “as good as it gets”.

Mason should be the last person to blame for all of this lol

Well he and his team didnt seem to of done any homework on leeds , its not all his fault but he has to harbour some for the style and tactics we employed today and potentially the one or two of the personnel picked to start and play

Just know one thing... Whenever you expect Tottenham to pull through they rarely do. It's a cultural thing engrained within the DNA of the club... Unfortunately we settle far to much on 2nd and 3rd options.

Levy has to back the next manager substantially just to level up even more investment is needed (on top of this) to challenge, a furthermore massive investment would be needed to stay within the hunt and win trophies... We are so far behind at the moment.

We're back to being allergic to getting into the top 4. The mentality of this squad is so so weak, never ever rise to the occasion.

Most of the dross we see now lays at Levy’s door. We should have improved when we finished second, we didn’t. We finished runners up and we didn’t improve in the places we needed. He scrimped on Fernandes.
He scrimped on a defender and bought Rodon(who at this time is miles better than Dier)
We needed 2 central midfielders we got PEH. The blame should also rest on Jose too. I would say I would have kept Jan instead of playing Dier.
we bought Doherty, who played wingback to play right back with us. Just error after error. Most of the fallout is because of Levy.
Yes he has the stadium to pay for but the timing of building the new one was at the detriment of the team. I believe the following year we would have gone close again.
anyway, need to cool off.

What an absolute load of shit... Pure trash

How I'd love Bielsa as our manager, fuck me we'd at least be so exciting to watch... Who knows what he could achieve with our players
He'd be gone quicker than Jose! players would make sure of that they can't run let alone pass the ball lol

I think he has lost heart after so many seasons giving his all with no return
I think also he has been coached not to press as hard and waste his energy and risk injuries. That's fine and he has great passing, but unless the team operate around that, it's going to make it hard to play a high press when Kane isn't getting stuck in and can easily be played around.

Very bad day at the office that. Team to a man just didn't turn up for whatever reason. Zero intensity, zero energy, zero aggression, zero impetus, and this was reflected in what we did with and without the ball. A million miles off a performance that will win you a PL football match.

I'm not sure though how people are getting surprised and/or angry about it. How could you have any hopes or expectations for the rest of the season? We have been dog muck for most of the season, sacked the manager and decided to wing it a bit for the remaining games, and it was simply inevitable that we'd have days where we'd be dog muck in this period too. Until we can regroup in the summer, get the right man/men in, make some changes, and develop some substance and standards to what we do then we're stuck with this. Some games we're alright, some less so, some very much less so.

We were never putting 6 or 7 wins together on the trot, that was fantasy. We'll see what happens now though - play with freedom and abandon and go out with a bang, or they zone out.....

Levy needs to appoint the right person. If that takes until the summer, so be it.
I’m struggling to have faith in his ability to pick the right man at the moment. Of course if he’s still deliberating but some itk suggests that we have picked the man and are just waiting until the end of season to not distract the squad, if that’s the case our season is over as of today so may as well.

Clearly we had no tactical structure or answer to the way they were playing. They played a as well organised team. We played as individuals. Not blaming Mason but he’s clearly well out of his depth.

Mason watches the same game as us and still doesn’t do anything about Aurier getting isolated. I think he’s scared of our players

Players win 4-0 against an already relegated team and they’re back to thinking they’re billy big bollocks. The mentality of the squad and club is so far from reality it’s insane.
