Was browsing orange world transfer rumours on train earlier, some guy had put he was training with lennon yesterday (he is in youth team) and he is not leaving as he had a pay-rise recently and is staying.

Just passing on info

Well I think its 99.99% certain that Lennon is staying, I dont see why Ramos would want him to leave, I dont see the logic of giving him a pay rise though!!

think pay increase had something to do with being 21 in april and contract agreement having clause stateing said rise at 21 inserted - gareth bale sure had same clause 18/21

We need Lennon to ensure we have a midfield quartet that are all below 5 ft 3 inches and each weigh less than 10 stone. This is the obvious balance required to be succesful for the non-physical nature of the Premiership. Bolton, Blackburn, Stoke and Everton are feeling anxious that they will be out muscled by our tough looking midfield of Lennon, Modric, Dos Santos and Zokora.

most went away straight after season end, most are back with exceptions, i.e honeymoons, wedding partys

there is nothing stopping them going to the lodge for some fitness training or medical bits or just a general bum around with the academy kids which they do

 not quite Lennon is 5 ft 5/5 ft 6!! But yeah we are looking far to short, I dont see tio much a prob. with that as long as we have a good midfield inforcer, hight is not a big issue. And Dos Santos is more then physical enough for the prem. Lennon too, and I think Modric may also be good. weight or hight does not mean physical, you dont have to even be strong to be physical!!

Maybe his pay rise was to make sure if he could afford the rising prices of petrol and food

To the above post it really depends on how Ramos wants to play, but maybe even then, yes either way. Bentley scores more and creates more for Lennon for a side that some would say is inferior, though I'm not sure they are that inferior. I think Bentley would give us consistent set pieces and create more clean cut chances then Lennon, but giving up on Lennon at this point would be foolish. I still think the lad can make it big.

Also, we already have Lennon, so there's no point splashing out millions on Bentley who is overrated IMO. And I think that he and Lennon had the same amount of assists last season.

We play differently to Blackburn, although you say they're inferior, they finished above us last season, and they play a different style of football -> give to Bentley/MGP -> set up striker -> score. Where as we tend to pass it around a bit more, and, if anything, underuse Lennon.

Jol played Lennon on the left so often that I wondered if it was because he was more effective cutting in than crossing. I hope he pactices crossing this summer.

I hope he can increase his goal ratio as I believe crosses are over rated in todays football.... Man Utd, Chelski Ar5en1 and Liverpool rarely cross the ball compared to other forms of attack/assists.

to be fair, lennon, thud, tarrabt, and boetang AND kaboul! are still young, and i think it is mad to call for them to be chucked out, like most youngsters they do not get the chance, or the have a few off games and we think they are not worthy of a place anymore. I say give them a chance, tarrabt i hope does go on loan for a season and boetang! I wanna see them play week in week out or every other game.
