Bit of interesting info although 2nd hand.....

As I mentioned I saw Lennon naughton and rose out Sunday night in London, Lennon was smashed ! Been out on brick lane all day apparently ! Anyway a mate of mine is pals with him and Lennon called him to brag about not going training Monday! Whilst all the other were training by the way ! He has also been offered big money to go to UAE, a club there has offered 5 mil although levy wants 7mil!!!! Again 2nd hand but Lennon said Mo PO has told him he is part of plans so he is not keen to leave especially as he is on 75k a week !!!! Oh and baldini is driving the transfer and levy isn't as keen although that may be because Daniel is not happy with Franco one bit !!!!

That is true. If it was one or the other to go, for me it would be Townsend for sure. I think both will be gone by the end of next summer though. Wishful thinking and all that...

He's part of the old guard. I used to rate him as a really dangerous player once upon a time, and was probably at his peak when in Harry's team when we had actual natural sided wingers in him and Bale.

Yeah it makes sense, just not Levy, if he wouldn't sell for the sake of 2 mil. If Lennon WAS keen to go and wasn't part of the managers plans and only one club was interested and offering 5 mil, then surely Levy would agree, not to mention the fact that Lennon has served the club well and for many years, it would be a disgrace to force him to say to squeeze every last pence out of him.

What were the 3 lads like? Did you get a chance to talk to them? Surprised they were all out if naughton and rose had training the next day. You'd assume Poch wouldn't be happy about that.

I've met all of them before and all nice lads, naughton is a really nice lad and I knew him before when he was at Sheff u, he is out a lot though as is Lennon ! I do feel a bit guilty and two faced when I see naughton out because I slaughter him on here as I don't think he is good enough, although hands up he was excellent against arsenal, told him this Sunday and he said all lads gutted not to hold on to all 3 points! Ox chamberlain was also out Sunday !
