I think the Russian knows that the attitudes of too many of these players just isn't right, but it's easier and a hell of a lot cheaper to replace a manager than a full squad. Their recruiters over the last several years have brought this on the club. Lots of superb players but too many bad eggs.

He hasn't had the same trajectory as Poch has had for example, Poch showed his capability at Espanyol and Southampton, Silva hasn't quite shown thst yet and there's still question marks over his defensive setup.

It's bloody Sod's law that we can't have a crack at them this week at Stamford Bridge while they are in such a shit run of form. Such is the luck of the fixture list they will probably have found their form back in time for when they play us. Although we have found a good run of form in time for the NLD and that's great news however and as much as I love the prospect of going full guns blazing against Arsenal it would be handy if we could swap this one for the Arsenal game this week and put the Gooners off for a bit as I'd love to break that awful hoodo we have away to Chelsea just that little bit more at this moment in time, and the sooner that happens the better.
