It's unfortunate, mainly because we'll have yet another tedious round of Liverpool fans selfishly appropriating the grief of the Hillsborough families so that they can play victim again, despite having no personal connection to, or memory of, the tragedy.

I think, had it been a completely different colour, such as blue or white, no-one would have batted an eyelid at it.
The problem is that it's a red shirt, with 96 on it and as such it plays straight into the hands of Liverpool fans.

What is it 20 pages now about Carragher's saliva and a girl in a car?
Time to move on perhaps?
Just saying.

Catch up we're now looking at a tshirt saying hillsborough was karma for heysel or it's a reference to bob marley, pretty similar.

Fuck me the whole world revolving round Liverpool, no need for any apology by Topman. Pathetic.

Do you guys really think the t-shirt was completely unintentional? It all seems too much of a coincidence for it not to have been planned to me. Obviously Topman didn't realise the relevance of the references but the designer who created it must have known what he was doing.

Why would a designer risk their career for a bit of footy banter?

Why must he or indeed she have? A year and a colour and a rose? Didnt he or she even follow football, a lot of people don't you know.

The articles fail to show that you could also buy the top in blue which if it was the only colour it wouldn't have had the media storm that the red top has had.

They need to stop looking for things to put themselves back in the spotlight....like judas telling us to move on from his move which wasn't mentioned for ages until he mentioned it in an interview earlier this week

No idea but they’re horrible jumpers. I didn’t even know Topman were still going. I thought they’d disappeared off the high street years ago.
