A bit off topic but I remember seeing Carrick play against Newcastle at WHL in a New Years Eve game and he was immense, he covered every attack, intercepted everything and hardly misplaced a pass, he looked like a giant even on a pitch with Michelin Man Mido

Along the same lines. I read an article (well a badly spelled mess) from someone from Liverpool saying how they should try to gain independence from the rest of the UK, if Scotland are allowed too. Was possibly the funniest thing I have ever read, I'll try to find it.

Just for reference, I'm too young to care about Thatcher and I'm not willing to waste time looking for reasons to hate someone! I am old enough to remember the tail end of Major, all of Blair, Brown and Cameron all of whom are held in equally low esteem.

Liverpool have boring players, and most people see that. It was a shame that we lost to them. That has to make us realise that we need some new exciting players in as well. At the moment we are in a bad run. We have good players, but not a complete squad.
