Let's be fair... Ramos knew what he was doing. And he will do the same to kane/Eriksen/Alli etc. Usually it's a bad tackle and a yellow. But this time I felt kinda sorry for Salah... he was being physical to get in on goal, Ramos just use that aggression against him.

I always want to see the best players for a big match.

Don't read too much into those LK death threats. Just grief. It was a HUGE match that would make it a fantastic season. I do feel for him... think he will have to play in a lower tier or a weaker league. His career has taken a nose dive.p0

Liverpool rode their lucky horse plenty of times this season in so many ways. Escaped long-term injuries to really key players for the most part. Had a Salah, who was fresh back to the PL and didn’t have the wear and tear on his legs, and discovered the form of his life! They had a laughably easy CL group, and still made hard work of it.

I’ll give them kudos for getting past City, but only then with that lucky horse seemingly getting every key officiating decision over both legs. They got past Roma too with the help of even more ridiculous officiating assistance.

Their luck ran out yesterday. Ramos didn’t intend to dislocate Salah’s shoulder in the same way that Karius didn’t seek to roll the ball out to Benzema’s extended leg, or parry Bale’s nasty, dipping shot directly into his own net!

Real had plenty of luck during their campaign, but getting us and Dortmund in the groups, and then going through PSG, Juve and Bayern…that’s a simply crazy draw!!!

Real earned every bit of their success, because I very much doubt that Liverpool would have survived Real’s draw. Liverpool were beyond fortunate to even get into the final, and simply lost to a better team.

Guys, if Salah continued to play after that Ramos wrestle, no one wil complain he did that intentionally.. That was really a normal tussle between players. Even Toby, probably the most classy defender, did that sometimes..

Blame their luck.. Served them right for running out of it at the most important night.

Excuses I've heard ..

Ramos throws down Salah in a judo move.
Karius took a bung
UEFA wanted RM to win
Referee was the 12th man
And I thought RM had suffered quite abit of injustice from the ref turning down their appeals of fouls but Liverfools got them quite easily.. Oh well..

Channeling your grief into death threats on Twitter is not OK, ever, and I hope all of those pond life get the book thrown at them. I do feel for Karius, it's the sort of match he might never mentally recover from.

As for Ramos, he absolutely intended to bring Salah down. Of course he wouldn't have expected it to injure Salah so badly he had to be taken off, but it was an unnecessary and thuggy thing to do.

At least Carragher gets it.

They got there as a team, Karius made some decent saves earlier on and they just left him out there. Team spirit? Surprising to see.

You'll never walk alone bullshit. One of their own need them and where are they?

Liverpool literally got the luckiest draw and run in CL history and against man city all the luck in the second leg when they were getting pummeled.

TBF, I said to my old man last week that Ramos was odds on to put a reducer on Salah early doors, I won’t have been the only one thinking this either.

Ramos knew what he was doing.

Salah put his arm into Ramos first... Ramos did what he does best... Take him down. We absolutely delighted only because Liverpool fans act like such dickheads. Felt sorry for Salah though as he been amazing this season.

There’s no way Ramos meant to injure Salah. He knew what he was doing, which was using his strength and a bit of knowhow to stop Salah getting away, which almost every defender in the world does every game. It’s no different to pulling the shirt, instead he held on to his arm with his own arm. Yeah it’s a foul but certainly no worse than what you see week in week out everywhere. It’s just unfortunate that Salah landed the way he did. That Mirror journo is a ****.

Like him or hate him, Ramos is a winner. Who else has 96 red cards alongside 36 CL winning medals?
