They have also been linked to the Milan kid, Donnorumma I think it is. Either will cost massive coin. They are spunking a heap on the Leipzig lad, and just spend a buttload on VVD. Can't see a worldie keeper there personally.

Their net spend is about £35m per season. They can afford it.

It will be annoying if they get a decent keeper. But they will still need Salah or someone else to get a lot of goals. I’d say the chances of his scoring as many next season isn’t high so those goals have got to come from somewhere.

If they don’t refresh the squad a lot I think their players will tire even more next season. That’s what happened to his Dortmund team didn’t it?

Being a decent chap, I genuinely hope Salah does return in time for World Cup.

However...courtesy of RAWK

For all the bile that is wrongly been hurled at Karius, (he's human and he made unintentional mistakes,) I wouldn't fancy standing in Ramos's shoes if Mo doesn't make it to the WC. His nasty and malicious ways might cost the dreams of millions.

I just saw on SSN that there's a petition with over 250,000 signatures on it, started up by a bunch of seriously deluded Liverpool fans, to try and get Ramos sanctioned in some way, for purposely injuring their beloved Salah. I have no idea what the objective is, I guess they want to get him banned from playing in the World Cup or something...

Words fail me for the most part, but this thread title is absolutely appropriate.

It's a great shame that Karius' mistakes have given the dippers a peg to hang their shit on. I'd have much preferred Madrid to have beaten them without that. They now have Karius and Salah's injury to grizzle about which they surely will. Their ridiculous luck throughout the CL simply ran out in the Final. Feel very sorry for Karius with what's going on though. He'll never be allowed to forget it.

Why did the manager wait so long? Total fuck up on his part, we all knew the two he had were shit, seemed only he didn't. At best terrible judgement, at worst sentimental weakness, neither should be the preserve of a top manager.

I feel the same about our midfield Steve.

Agreed and Poch needs to sort it this summer, in his case I think it's poor judgement, in klopps I'm more inclined to consider it sentimentality but either way they should both be able to see the deficiencies of their squads, they spend enough time with them.

Have to hope Sissoko is shown the door, Dem could be off too, maybe we could swap them for a Tony Kroos...
