Teddy seems to be some kind of spokesperson for them over this and she makes their statement clearer in this:

Transparency is key for Liverpool.

The club, in an unprecedented situation following an unprecedented officiating situation, stated they would "explore" options available to them. They are still learning what those are, but an example has been requesting the full audio conversations.

The statement did not say they would "pursue" all options. A demand for the game to be replayed was not mentioned or hinted at in their communique.

The reference to "escalation and resolution" is to highlight Liverpool would not simply accept PGMOL's vague statement about a "significant human error" and a review without terms of reference.

She made her name writing a book about Liverpool/Klopp so I would assume she has a good line into the club.

The club, in an unprecedented situation following an unprecedented officiating situation,

Hahaha, the only "unprecedented" part of this is Liverpool's reaction. Refs have made mistakes forever, VAR has made mistakes, everyone calls it wank and goes about their day. Scousers have one decision go against them, they shit their pants and demand the entire world drop what it's doing to somehow make it un-happen.

Really, it's hilarious and sad at the same time. Honest to whatever god you believe in, just let it go, like everyone else has had to the umpteen times they've played Liverpool and had to suffer their fans making excuses in the other direction when they get away with some bollocks or another.

They think this is an insult. No, this makes it twice as funny.

I wonder if the Premier League review committee start their meetings in Alex Ferguson style, "Lads it's Liverpool".

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Some of you are bending with the weight. Considering a Replay, conceding Jones red card if it shuts them up, etc etc. that’s what they want. Wear you down with the whining and victim complex until you just surrender
There won't be a replay. No-one will want to see a precedent set.

Why let them off with the Jones red card. It was a leg breaking challenge and they should stick to their principles!

Honestly the suggestion of anything other than a process change to avoid the offsides goal from happening again is farcical. To that end, I hope the club refuse to grant media passes to any “journalists” who suggest a replay is warranted or posture whether it should be. That way the Liverpool sycophants representing themselves as journalists would have to watch wgat they say, write and type. Is that possible?

Liverpool are supposed to be a big club. If our club and our fans acted like this after a tight offside was incorrectly called against us, I would be embarrassed.

It goes to show how many calls usually go in their favor.

This reminds me of when Ramos broke Salah's shoulder. Man people were melting down asking for replay's and retroactive bans. It was inane online, We got screwed in a final and guess what, we moved on, it's part of our funny past of getting absolutely fucking jobbed in massive matches. These lot are just built different.

They're selling it now as some kind of crusade for the greater good too. Holding the refs feet to the fire so that everyone benefits. Embarrassing. They don't give a single fuck about any other club or decision. All "me, me, me" as usual with them.

It’s ironic Liverpool play the victim card, really. They act like utter helmets and wonder why people think they’re utter helmets.

If them letting Jones off shuts them the fuck up about the offside then it’s a price I’m willing to pay. I suspect that’s what Liverpool are up to with the appeal.
No mate, let them whine for another decade or two. And slap Jones with an additional day of suspension.

PGMOL and FA will not and should not be held hostage by that disgusting club, thinking they can do whatever they like. Let this be a fucking lesson to them by embarrassing them further.

She’s South African and is friends with a mate of mine. She 100% knows what she’s talking about, especially when it comes to Liverpool where her best connections are.

I don’t care if they rescind the Jones red card to be honest. He is total crap anyway. He is another one of those players that I’m not sure what he is good at.

Basically a shitter Mason Mount, and I think Mason Mount is really shit.
