The thing that also irks me a bit is apparently mummy giggs stopped talking to the brother after giggs was caught shagging his missus!

Wonder what she’ll make of her precious boy now?

I presume we’re just waiting on announcement of him being relieved of wales job.
Our sense of right and wrong and how we judge people does appear to be all over the place.

He got away with it for so long for appearing humble and quiet. People often mistake these characteristics with a kind person.

Think about what Giggs has done and compare that to what Ashley Cole has done.

It's fair enough to think Ashley Cole is an unlikeable dick but in reality he hasn't done anything terrible. But he gets a lot more hate.

Think that’s now changing..

Punchable face syndrome though, isn't it? For a lot of people, they likely associate Ashley Cole with a lad they went to school with that probably rubbed them up the wrong way. Giggs has seemed quiet and unassuming generally, and didn't do the 'sign for the rivals for cashola' job that made Ashley a bit of a frictional sort, too.

She knows where her bread's buttered presumably. Rhodri may have made a few quid from those gambling adverts he did but Ryan's the one who'll be keeping her in mansions and fancy clothes etc for the rest of her days.

Wow
Not once, but twice fans have broken into the ground before today's game.
Not only basic security, but add in Covid this is a shambles ~ serious implications for health and safety
a fine and a ban on home fans when they can return is the minimum

The irony of this “protest” lies in the fact that Man U have always been one of the ‘richer clubs’. In my mind, it is no more than an excuse for young folk to let off steam. I was chatting with a football ‘yob’ some time ago, and he suggested that the last 3-5 years has seen an increase in the kind of football fan mentality of the 70’s & 80’s - up for a fight etc... he said that the Man U fraternity were up there as leading the way. Nothing really surprises me that much anymore, especially in the business of football.

I bet ManU fans would have been quiet if they were still top dogs in England. I doubt it very much.

My own annoyance with our board is pretty much all to do with the way we have declined in the last 18months on the pitch. SonI can guess how they feel about being also rans again

that horror challenge on Alan Hutton comes to mind. How he was allowed to finish that game is a mystery to me.

This is it in a nutshell. Same as Arsenal. A large majority of their fans are glory hunters (and Arsenals) and cant stomach the fact that Chelsea and Man City have gate crashed the party.
The landscape has changed. Thats not down to the Glazers.
Funny seeing the stat on MotD that since the Glazers took over Man U have actually spent more than anyone in Europe bar PSG.
I dont know what makes their fans think that should someone take over the club they wouldn't take even more money out the club. That stat kinda suggests its likely.

Man Utd have pretty much led football related arrests for a very long time

I was thinking their security most be incredibly poor for fans to be able to get in.

There are masses of them but surely big metal doors should be able to keep them out?

I‘d dock them points personally.

Personally, I'd dock them enough points to make them miss the cut for Europe altogether next season, regardless of where we finish. I'd also ban them from Europe for the following 1 or 2 seasons.

United supporters warns the Glazers that more demonstrations will follow, if they don't come out and speak in public about the supporters claims. Curious to see whether they themselves comes out and speak or a PR-speaker takes the fall for them.

Id have thought the threat of terrorism is the bigger issue. You cant have a revolving door on one of the most famous grounds in the world. Incredible negligence. Like all things you'll probably find the security is outsourced and the just dont give a shit as long as the money keeps rolling in.
