Billic might be likable but I also like how despite being a fairly commanding defender in his day he cant coach a defence for toffee.

Long may he stay there trying to build a team out of the barons vanity purchases.

The article itself contains nothing of interest, but the concept of giving Jack Sullivan his own column in the Sun probably represents the most entertaining premonition of a massive car crash since Final Destination 2.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...problems-on-and-off-the-london-stadium-pitch/

Or, as the posters on KUMB put it...

"This is going to end well."

"Children are supposed to read comics, not write them."

"Yes, well I was umm-ing and aah-ing as to whether I should subscribe to my super soar-away currant bun, folks, and that's tipped the balance. Sounds grrrrrrreat! I love the Sullivans, I hope none of them ever shut their ****ing mouths, ever."

"Sorry that's a joke. I have no problem with him having a twitter account but this makes us look 2Bob."

Which, frankly, could only lead to one response....

"Look?" :D

If we're really lucky, the column will carry on into the transfer window and he'll start commenting on West Ham's transfer business as he used to on Twitter, such as when he wrote...

"I am very sorry about this news. Chamakh has signed a 6 month loan deal! Not my pick" :ROFLMAO:

Eagerly awaiting the next instalment already...

It's almost like they are desperate to be involved in something at the end of the season! Accept where you are. Nothing like good enough to mix it with the big boys for honours etc and not even shite enough to be involved in an exciting relegation battle!

Seems like they are finally where they have always wanted to be...they are finally Tottenham Hotspur

Problem for them is, they are the Tottenham Hotspur of the late 90's early 00's, except in a shitter stadium! Mid table mediocrity beckons for the next few years until they go back down for a season or two.

And people were genuinely scared about them moving in to the Olympic bowl!?

To be fair, this season they've somehow managed to replace one of the most creative players in world football, who took the league by storm last season, with a past it, average 33 yr old centre half and Robert Snodgrass. That takes some doing!

Being based in London and having a large stadium means they've got the POTENTIAL to do what we did, growing in size and stature and becoming a genuine threat. And that will take time, remember that three years after the ENIC takeover we were still battling relegation with players like Gary Doherty, Johnnie Jackson and Helder Postiga in the side - it took them almost a full decade to get us into the Champions League.

But with those clowns running their club? We can sit back and relax. Even if they sack Bilic, who is going to want to work for them? They have even overtaken Newcastle in the banter stakes. Joke club.

Michail Antonio out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

Makes our game against them a bit easier. One of their only real attacking threats.

Makes it easier for sure but they will still need to be aware it's one of the few times that mob will actually attempt to turn up this season.

I don't like decent grounded players getting lengthy injuries. If there was any justice it would be their fans instead

Antonio is a very underrated player IMO. He had a really poor spell where Bilic kept playing him at right back but he's done excellently since he's moved up to pitch (wing back, wide forward and even striker). Big loss for them. They've got Ayew and Carroll but both are incredibly injury prone.

Yeah, had an impressive season all things considered.
Thinking about i, he might've played his last game for them...i can see a few bids for him in the summer from better clubs, that'd be nice.

Given the noises from their owners this week, in a few years that's a very real possibility.
What noises?

Are we talking wheezing, gurgling and croaking like the end is near?

No i think it was Sullivan came out and rubbished reports this week that they are looking to sell, he said they're in it for the long haul, and bearing in mind he's the majority shareholder, id guess its his eldest who gets the club if/when he pops his clogs?

****ing Randolph

Randolph conceded direct from a corner or, as one of their posters put it, in what is possibly my favourite insult so far this weekend...

"He's a ****ing lettuce"
