You have a issue @Bobbins ?

Labour commissioned the project and the designs, costs, contracts etc for the stadium.

Also, it's a very nice stadium. Not a football stadium, but perfect for almost anything else, and was incredible for athletics during the Olympics.

If you mean the Tories screwed up the stadium award, well they weren't involved with the decision to award it to West Ham.

The stadium was never going to be a white elephant as there was nothing wrong with the original design it was a low maintenance designed stadium. After the world championship there would never be a full house for athletics, even this year athletics participation has fallen alot.

The tories also raised some funding for say the opening ceremony but couldn't even be asked to fund the wrap for the stadium which was the only decent feature of a ok stadium(doesn't really compare to say the birds nest and some other examples). Instead they choose to have strips of white, red and blue strips around the stadium. The wrap around the stadium was initially suppose to have a projection sports running and etc. but this was cut before being cut all together.

Then the original plan of it being a athletics stadium was scrapped after scare mongering by boris about a white elephant. Making it a community stadium would of been nice imo and it was designed specifically to be low cost hence the lack of facilities at the stadium, which are now being installed.

Unfortunately some socialists twats had fucked our economy and brown had sold the countries gold reserves.

Brown, Balls and Milliband are probably just about the only people that could run a football club worse that the dildo brothers and Brady.

True but they increased the budget for alot things by double but the wrap only costed £7mill, which was scraped and the tories also are the reason why we are paying for a new stadium for a rivals

I don't know if this is particularly funny*, but it's about West Ham:

http://westhamworld.co.uk/exclusive-sullivan-refuses-to-admit-sacking-allardyce-is-the-answer/

West Ham World: David, doesn’t that result prove to you that the time has come to sack Sam?

David Sullivan: I really don’t know the answer. It’s £4million to sack him now, nothing if we get relegated. No compensation at all if we go down.

WHW: This isn’t about money any more. We need some stability.

DS: It is because we haven’t got it. We just haven”t got it. We need our centre-halves back and then I think we’ll be ok.

WHW: But this is looking like Avram Grant all over again. If we lose on Saturday then surely you’ll realise he has to go?

DS: [holds hands up] I really, really don’t know. Who would you have as the manager then?

WHW: I’d get Malkay [Mackay] in straight away.

DS: But Cardiff have only got three points more than us and have spent about £30million.

WHW: But Cardiff’s squad isn’t as good as ours. We’re better than Cardiff. What’s the deal with [Lacina] Traore then?

DS: Traore is nearly signed. No [he won't be signed by Saturday], the work permit application isn’t until Monday and there’s still only a 50/50 chance of that being successful because he hasn’t played any internationals.

WHW: David, all we’re saying to you is that we trust you as our club’s owner to put things right. We’re getting bored of losing every week. It’s hard. We pay our hard earned money to go and watch us here, there and every where and it’s just getting boring.

DS: How do you think we feel? If we go down we cannot afford to subsidise the club any longer.

WHW: Well get rid of Sam then, if that’s the case.

DS: Believe you me, getting rid of Sam does not guarantee we will stay up.

WHW: In my honest opinion it gives us a better chance. We will have more of a chance staying up if we don’t have Sam Allardyce in charge. It’s just not working anymore.

DS: Possibly, I just don’t know. I just don’t think Malky Mackay is necessarily the answer.

WHW: Thanks, David. I massively respect you for taking the time out to speak to us this evening. Thank you.

So Sullivan openly admitted that he doesn’t particularly know the answer, but refused to admit that sacking Allardyce would improve our chances of Premier League survival. What we do know is that, if we are relegated, the club will be in huge trouble financially.

I've highlighted what I think are the two big points, sounds like they're going to be in serious financial difficulty if/when they go down. If they can't even afford £4m to sack Allardyce then how are they going to cope with losing £80m from their balance sheet?

*because hey, even West Ham fans deserve a club. A club in League 1 maybe, but still a club!

Is seriously saying he would rather get relegated with a bad manager than to pay him off?

The guys are a bunch of shits, they said they won't subside the club but that means if they aren't willing to pay the huge wages. If the players refuse to leave and they cant get money and don't go up, you are looking a leeds situation here.

The FFP fines in the championship are fucking huge

hes so right aswell, who the fuck wants another English club to win a final like that?

Providing it bares no direct impact on us, I like to see English teams win European competitions.

I obviously wanted Chelsea to lose to Munich, but I wanted Utd to win the two CL they did and I even wanted Liverpool to win it when they made the final.

Nah not for me, I want tottenham to be the most successful team in the country. That said, I did want Fulham to win that final.
