It's odd how some fans will do anything to defend their own...their defence of that **** who abused Jake Livermore was frankly embarrassing.
Liverpool were quite similar withe bitey racist as well.

I'm not saying our fans are perfect, far from it, but at least we condemn it when one of ours does something wrong, like the guy who threw his wee at the West Ham fans.

I thought it quite amusing to hear the away fans singing to the home fans at the beginning of the game:

"You're only here to see West Ham, you're only here to see West Ham........ you're only here to see West Ham"

And see the real West Ham they did.

Have they got any players left to get injured?

Exactly why West Ham have so many injuries is a hot topic on KUMB...

Some blame Moyes...

"Spent a few hours with a bloke I see a few times a year, he’s a medic (non football) but he was chatting to Gary Lewin who told him that when Moyes joined he came to the medical staff and said to them that they should expect lots of players in for injury cos of what he was about to put them through."

 Seems like a plan.

Others - and I'm not sure anything could be more West Ham than this - blame a gypsy curse

This is anecdotal but I understand the origins of our injury misfortunes date back to 1995; The year a disenchanted Dutchman wandered lonely into the wilderness and set up camp in a jubilee viceroy two berth caravanette. Sad and alone he was found by a local travelling community who took him in as one of their own. One night by campfire Nehemiah (as he was named by the travellers) finally found the strength to speak of his time at West Ham Utd and of ultimately being cast aside for the more attractive and prolific figure known as Dowie. Enraged, the travellers swore revenge. In unison they raised their lucky heathers aloft, chanted an incantation and cursed West Ham Utd for 28 years. As the curse was marked a 6 year-old Andy Carroll felt a twinge in his hamstring on his way to second place in the school sports day egg and spoon race.........

Others still reckon it's the players' fault

"I reckon it's because most of our squad are namby-pamby, powder puffs, cossetted beyond belief. I wonder what Billy Bonds thinks of them?"

Ah, the blessed Billy Bonds who, it was pointed out yesterday, was the last West Ham player to be done for spitting on the football field.

There were then various detours around whether the physios or the state of the training ground (and it is a state) or Sullivan's policy of buying players who are over-the-hill and notoriously injury-prone had anything to do with it, before the thread came back to the players again, with this post...

I think Moyes has kept up the vigorous training regime, in the mistaken belief that some of the squad are unfit, when the truth is they can't be f*cking bothered, lazy arrogant b*stards happy to swan round for 90mins and collect their 60k+ a week apart from ****s like Carroll and Sakho, who can't be bothered to do that. I think we should drop them in a pit, and get the 5,000 fantastic fans that spent their hard earned yesterday watching that crap, and f*cking stone them.

Ooh I'll have 2 flats 2 pointy ones and a boulder, are there any women here today?"

:D

Certainly more entertaining than watching them try to play football, anyway.

Their next the games are against Palace, Brighton and Watford who are the kind of teams they need to beat if to want to stay up. This injury crisis is at a really bad time for them.

Their final fixtures look really tough as well...

April - Chelsea away, Stoke at home, Arsenal away, City at home.

May - Leicester away, Everton at home.
