Such a shame this Carragher gobbing story is running alongside the WHUL debacle.

It's taken away a lot of the attention it could have generated.

However I'm sure there's more slapstick in the offing.

Bobby Moore remembered. Ahead of the game against Burnley on Saturday, the first home game since the anniversary, West Ham will further their tributes. Members from the cup-winning squads from 1964 and 1965 will be presented ahead of the game, when a floral display will be laid in the centre-circle ahead of a minute’s applause.

:(

And he will get a posthumous apology for being prevented from joining Spurs!

I support my local club here in austria... and there are 3-4 West Ham Fans amongst our supporter club. It was usual banter between us, and the love for our local club obviously was more important than what club we support in the PL.

But since the Leicester title season and them thinking they won Leicester the title, constantly cheering on every opponent Spurs faced and celebrating that spurs fell apart at the end of the season (even celebrating chelseas equaliser) made me furious.... really hate West Ham since then, can't stand them - and don't like to talk much about PL football on the ground since then

And my friend, this is how our rivalry has developed. Anyone that lives around the West Ham supporting area or knows West Ham fans will really dislike West Ham. As they were my local team and my family supported them, I used to have banter when we were competing in the 90s early 00s. Then they turned crap. As a localish club I had nothing really against them, and was happy to see them survive and do OK. Never made any comments as they've been doing so poorly.

But the late 00s to now and when we were competing for the OS stuff whenever Spurs slipped up I would get loads of texts from them laughing, making comments etc. completely unprovoked and since then, they are easily one of the games, I hate losing. It's just unbearable seeing them happy despite the fact there is so little joy in their life. And I need to see the, relegated. This is bringing me so much joy

Does anyone? it’s 2018 the mere idea of a bunch of over weight middle aged men wearing stone island and thinking they’re tough because they can punch a football fan or two is pathetic.

I met the ICF in a pub in Waterloo once, I was there to watch us play Villa. They'd just come back from their match at Fulham. Fortunately for me some Chelsea fans turned up and drew most of their attention. Weird.

PAOK Salonika president invades pitch with gun
Football

But before we get started, this story is hard to ignore.

The Greek top-flight match between PAOK Salonika and AEK Athens on Sunday was abandoned after PAOK's president invaded the pitch with a gun.

Ivan Savvidis tried to confront the referee with a gun in a hip holster after his side had an 89th-minute goal ruled offside with the score 0-0.

AEK's players left the pitch concerned for their safety and did not return.

The match was officially abandoned two hours later but it was reported that the referee had reversed his decision.

Savvidis asked his team to leave the pitch following the offside decision then marched towards the referee before being pulled back by bodyguards.

PAOK are third in the Greek top flight and could have moved within two points of leaders AEK with a win.
I bet Sullivan has got a spud gun under that ridiculous jacket...

This is amazing.

Start watching at 14:30 when Peter Cook enters the frame.

Fantastic footage and commentary of everything kicking off.

I don't know what we've done to deserve this never ending gold from WH this season, but I'm very, very grateful and I am enjoying myself immensely.

A minute's applause. Hotly followed by 90 minutes of booing, abuse hurled at the directors box and fighting among themselves.

Truly the place of World Cup winners.

It is unbelievable how far from the pitch they are. Players look like little Subbuteo men.

Equally amazing is the fact people run on the pitch, run around and then just go back into the stands and take their seats. What a fucking shambles that place is. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

He absolutely deserved to join us. It would have been fitting for him and a player of his stature. So much better than that tin pot club, who treated him like dirt after he left.

He was banned from the stadium!
