So let's see how KUMB have reacted to getting into Europe by the backdoor. Well, pretty much as you'd expect, with that winning combination of poorly-suppressed ill-humour and complete unawareness of their sheer mediocrity that make them the fans we know and don't particularly love.


I think my two favourite posts were this one, which just called out for the KUMB site mods to introduce not just an 'optimistic' rating, but a 'so bloody optimistic he probably thinks he'll have a good view from his seat at the OS' rating:

"Can't wait to travel all over Europe."

* N.B. Had West Ham joined at this stage last year, 'all over Europe' would have comprised Romania and back.


And then this one, which just seethes with simmering tension and aggression like Mark Noble sitting by the phone on International call-up day:
