That is no way a serious post. Not unless there is a different Steve Mclaren that I am unaware of.
He must have meant Steve McQueen and be hoping for a great escape

I know the guys been dead for 30 years but still surely a better option than Mclaren

If Bilic ended up leaving and they appointed Steve McClaren I think I'd have to be taken to
hospital from my sides having split.

I agree, but in fairness, that doesn't seem all that long ago for us. Mid table was our staple.
That's true. Our progress has been pretty organic though and West Ham fans seem to think that having a new stadium allows them to take a quick route to the top 4.

what's with the X factor arms thing? It really is cringetastic!

It always reminds me of the airplane safety videos from the 80's/90's where they cross their arms and go down the big yellow inflatable slide.

Incidentally, you could crash land a 747 next to the pitch at the OS without harming players on the pitch or fans in the stands.
Doubt the fans would even notice, either too busy fighting each other or squinting at the tiny players on the pitch.

They made an interesting point on Football Weekly that last seasons defensive solidity could have been carried over from Big Sams coaching drills from the previous season. Is Bilic going to be able to re-instill that into the team this year?

They have started blowing up upton park for a film Some great pictures in the link.

Still a better stadium after this then the "London stadium"

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/west-ham-bomb-boleyn-ground-8874567

"a film centred around a football stadium with 35,000 fans being held hostage by terrorists."

Or regular life as a West Ham fan with the Dildo Brothers in charge!!!

LOL at the comment posted:

The aftermath looks like the new stadium after every home game so far this season..

Re. the blowing up of the Boleyn Ground....

The Highland Film Group reportedly secured the use of the Boleyn Ground for filming before it is handed over to property developers Galliard Homes.

Producer Marc Godlberg told The Sun that he expects the movie to be popular with football fans.

"We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to film in this unique and legendary location,” he said.

Bloody popular with me, that's for sure!

Just returned from a weekend in Rome and weirdly I saw a large number of local kids wearing spammers shirts and T-shirts? What the F is that all about?

Mind, as I was practically robbed blind everywhere I went and witnessed several racial abuse incidents I suppose it makes some sense.

Lazio fans loves West Ham about as much as they love Moussolini.

Mind you when I went to Menorca for a break this summer the West Ham shirts outnumbered all the others by about 3 to 1!

This was the problem, they thought that Bilic, Payet, a bit of extra TV money, and the new stadium would have them in the top 4 and their level of expectation rose beyond the reality.

Just to have repeated last season's league finish would have been an achievement but they were never going to repeat their start of last season so the pressure was going to mount from the first game.

Hopefully, Gold and Sullivan will panic, get shot of Bilic for some helmet like McClaren and the spiral will continue downwards towards relegation.

Plus they'll struggle in home games because the away teams will always be in a relaxed and positive mood, following at least an hour of belly laughing at their stadium.

That David Sullivan ten point guide to really, really pissing off West Ham fans

Sell off historic old ground. Check.
Sell off cups, medals and pictures from old ground. Check
Move into rented accommodation not fit for football. Check
Fit it out as cheaply and tackily as possible. Check.
F*** up transition arrangements and cause fights between home fans. Check.
F*** up stewarding and segregation arrangements and cause fights between home and away fans. Check.
Oversee disastrous transfer window. Check.
Get knocked out of Europe in August. Check
Blow up the old ground for a cheap stunt. Check.

Hmm. That's only nine...

What else should I do? I know. I'll show them how stinking rich I am. I'll appear on a tacky Channel 5 show and let them all see where all the money I got for Upton Park has gone. I'll revel in how many swimming pools I've got while the rain pours onto them from the botched roof of their crappy rented athletics track. I'll show them all my expensive, tacky belongings and then they'll understand why I didn't spend any money on a Centre Back to replace Tomkins. I mean, it's not as if we're going to ship 4 goals every game, is it?

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/see-inside-west-ham-owner-8876693

The more I see him at work, the more I start to think he's an evil genius whose sole purpose in life is to troll West Ham fans. I mean, he couldn't really be that much of a tactless, blithering idiot, could he?

Anyway. Channel 5 tonight. 9pm. It promises to be a blast.
