Let's All Laugh At... Let's All Laugh At West Ham

So how's the last day of the transfer window going for West Ham?

"Could it be possible our owners simply forgot Transfer Deadline Day? They are old."

Hmm. Not great then. But what news does their pre-eminent ITK have? Is anyone coming?

"Got to be honest. Ain't got a clue. And at this point I couldn't give a f**k either. Had enough."

But what about Carvalho? Wasn't he nailed on?

"We wouldn't pay the fee. Thought they would fold. As of yet they haven't. Bilic really wants him. He wants to come to us. Bilic told to sell players to fund it and then....."

Or, as it was summarised

"Some clubs have to sell to buy. We sell to do fuck all."

Still, it wasn't all doom and gloom. One poster asked:

"So can we go to bed now?"

To which came the reply

"Take me for a meal first?"

:ROFLMAO:

It's all a bit embarrassing really. The idea was that the (let's face it) superb deal they got on the stadium would allow them to start being more competitive in the transfer market and eventually with clubs like us on the pitch but they are further away than ever at the moment.

So after their mesmerising start to the season can someone confirm whether they actually got anyone in over the last week as I've been away

Literally nobody. Guardian's summary is decent,

The squad contains holes after the departure of nine senior players and Slaven Bilic’s side clearly needed further strengthening after starting the season with three straight defeats. The manager wanted more quality in central midfield but Sporting Lisbon refused to lower their asking price for William Carvalho. West Ham also had a loan bid for Everton’s Kevin Mirallas rejected and spent most of deadline day ignoring Diafra Sakho’s pleas to move to Rennes.

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan says manager Slaven Bilic turned down chance to sign midfielders Renato Sanches and Grzegorz Krychowiak

If this is true then West Ham are dumb. (To be fair even if it isn't true, West Ham are still dumb)

I don't believe it. Sanches is there because of clements, not because he wanted to join a shite Premier league side.

Wow. I thought Bilic was a decent judge of a player. We know he was after William Carvalho, but Krychowiak is better and was avaiable without a £30 million transfer fee.

I'll have less sympathy now when the dildo brothers inevitably sack him.

Looks to me that Sullivan is muddying the waters in preparation for any arguments Bilic makes about not being supported. Bilic should walk, he's better than this. I reckon relegation is a strong possibility for them this year.

Christ that club has zero class. I fucking love that the OS has turned into exactly what was predicted, a soulless bowl not fit for football and their fans hate it. Pleeeease get relegated. It will be even more soulless half empty.

So how have KUMB reacted to this news?

With sympathy for Bilic at such an obvious deflection tactic...

"They have literally (yes I said it again) thrown Bilic under the bus."

"Slav should walk and I wouldn't blame him."

With disappointment

"I'm disappointed in Sullivan, he could have at least thought up some original lies."

With flawed logic

"These lot are absolute ****s. They don't deserve us."

With impeccable logic

Poster 1: "If it's true Bilic said it's Carvalho or nobody, that is stupid. Quite ridiculous."
Poster 2: "But since time began, we have always signed nobodies."

:ROFLMAO:

And, in my favourite response, with a top-notch 80s retro pop culture reference

"Sakho almost went to Rennes
We got offered Renato.

I'm going to save for my love for any potential new owners."

Well played, sir. Well played.

Oh, and finally, with this graphic...

"As a Board, we are behind Slaven"
