Yeah that Claret and Hugh one i find funny, he starts off his match vlogs so chirpy with so much optimism, and by the end he's just half cut and swearing in despair when they inevitably lose again.

The Spammers have that unwanted record even though they've spent 4 seasons in the second tier of English footie during the PL's short history. Conte' played silly games for 6 months or more trying to get the sack. If he hated the club that much just leave with some dignity instead of putting the club & it's supporters through the wringer before finally getting dismissed ?
Stinks to me of greed.
If i get fired from my job for lack of performance I get my owed holiday pay and nothing else !

I know what you mean, I've felt the same way before when certain managers wait to get sacked.
I think with conte it wouldn't surprise me if abramovich was being a dick to him for quite a while, so I wouldnt be surprised if he thought, fuck it, I'll wait for you to sack me.
I think Pellegrini knew what he was getting himself in for when singing for west ham, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he knew he was punching above his weight with trying to convert west ham into a top 8 club, with man city and Malaga they all had substantial money. I know west ham spent 100m but in comparison to his time in Manchester and Spain 100m gets you no where except paying over the odds for bang average players if you are certain clubs, and imo west ham is definitely one to them as the owners were desperate to show ambition to the fans after last season and they have spent far too much on the calibre of players they have brought in.

I doubt Pellegrini is worried. He has the comfort of a big pay off if he’s sacked but probably thinks he can turn it around.

At stake is his reputation but this is football, shit managers get hired and fired over and over again.
